What teachers say

Most teachers find out about Perform For Schools via word of mouth and we are always looking for feedback and comments to help us improve what we do. Here are some of the most recent comments we have received about our topic-based Explorer workshops, After School Clubs and INSET workshops.

Hannah was fabulous and engaged every age group with the carefully thought out appropriate material and creative ways of communicating. We are grateful for the strong and clear messages that came across eg Zip it, Block it, Flag it.

– Mrs C Coulson

An informative, fun session for the children to learn about Chinese New Year. They enjoyed the games and acting out the story with the various props!

– Ms. K Rogers

The content of the workshops was age appropriate and contributed to developing creative skills and imagination. Emily was a very skilled practitioner who managed the children well and engaged and involved them successfully. The children found the workshops exciting and enjoyable.

– Carolyn Ruff - Raglan Infants

Hannah was energetic, engaging and thoroughly enthusiastic throughout both sessions. She was attentive to details provided by the school and went above and beyond to help our pupils.

– Mr M Lavery

As always, the children really enjoyed the workshops. They came back to class buzzing about their experiences and the theme which linked in well with our literacy festival theme. We always enjoy having the Perform Team in at our school.

– Ms. B Thakker

Gabriella had boundless energy. All seven classes had a great time. All were enthused by the Divalli workshop and enraptured by her story telling.

– Caroline T-Walmsey - Kingsway Infant School

We always try and kick our topic learning off with a bang and I was so worried that we wouldn’t have that exciting start with the current situation. However, the children had a brilliant time with Rachel and got a lot from the experience.

– Ms. P Barclay

Very pleased with the sessions. The children loved them and really brought the different subjects to life for them. Also pleased that Laura was very good at controlling behaviour.

– Carol Schofield - Fernhurst Primary School

Our virtual workshops were great - every bit as good as the live Perform sessions. Some children took part from home too and parents were very impressed. A brilliant way to start our World Book Day celebrations.

– Ms. V Mcsorland

The students loved the workshop and the teachers felt it was a fantastic way of getting into the topic of Diwali.

– Bronwyn Harrison - The American School in London

The children really enjoyed the session and using their imaginations. I loved trying different ways to show their knowledge like by creating a soundscape and exploring movements to show the event.

– Ms. K Pertzborn

Children engaged in lesson and remember the key messages from the workshop Zip it! Block it! Flag it! They really enjoyed it! Highly recommended.
