Our ethos

Every child is different and so are the things they enjoy.

Some children are energetic and outgoing, others are quieter and more sensitive. Whatever your child is like, you'll know that the most important thing is that they are happy and fulfilled.

Perform is a different type of drama school. We use a unique mix of drama, dance and singing - specially developed and written by us - to bring out every child's true potential.

Classes are kept small to ensure lots of individual attention by our experienced teachers - hand-picked for their warmth, energy and professionalism. They'll focus on your child's enthusiasm and engagement in the activities rather than their precision and ability to learn moves. And they'll be with your child every step of the way to guide, inspire and encourage.

As well as having fun at Perform, your child will enjoy real benefits: greater confidence, improved concentration and an increased awareness of what they can achieve.

The beaming smile you see when Annabelle finishes a class with Oliver is so wonderful to see. She has grown in confidence and thoroughly enjoys singing and dancing all the time. Love, love, love the class and wish we could all take part!

I’m very impressed by the pro active, thoughtful way each session is run, the recap at the end for parents is encouraging. It is great to know that Ethan is not just being ‘entertained’ for the hour, but pro actively being taught new life skills - and he always comes out absolutely full of life.

– Mrs Kate Whyley

Perform is a fantastic class that teaches the children to let go of their inhibitions and gives them confidence to shine. The producers are all amazing and are so good with the children. Darcie looks forward to coming to the group each week.

– Mrs Lisa Bennett

There is something about Perform which is different to other drama classes - it feels as if the teacher is more interested in my son's individual needs, progress and happiness than anything else.

– Claire Elhaggagi

The games they choose are fun and are great ways to provide a forum for the children to start to 'perform' without knowing it, giving them safe ways in which to speak out  and get a positive response from the other children, thus building their confidence in front of a wider group.

My daughter looks forward to her Perform class every week. I really enjoyed watching the end of term show and I couldn’t believe how well she followed direction. So glad we found you! It’s everything we wanted for Maddy and more!

– Mrs Clare Martindale

Poppy is so excited to go to her class every week and has been singing and dancing along to the CD all week. A wow of a success. Thank you.

– Alice Turner

Fab classes, my daughter is very shy and socially awkward, she’s tried many extra curricular activities over the years but Perform has been the one class she actually wants to go to without any pushing from me!

Lovely inclusive teachers and parents always kept well informed.

– Miss Sonja Bradley

My first impressions of the class and Laura were really positive and after just two classes Jude was showing excitement about going. It’s great seeing Jude so keen to be involved in something away from home/school.

– Mrs Katie Picking

My daughter is really enjoying her classes. Suzie is wonderful, she engages with the children really well and takes the time to speak to them and the parents one on one each week. Everything is planned and carried out to a very high standard.
