How to engage ALL your pupils in a National Curriculum topic using drama

Perform Explorer Workshops are topic-based sessions available for a range of National Curriculum Foundation, KS1 and KS2 topics.

Facilitated by one of our trained DBS-checked teachers, they use imaginative creative resources, performing arts-based exercises and role-play scenarios to spark children's imaginations and bring your chosen subject matter alive.

Grouped into History, Geography, Science, Communication and Literature-based topics and designed to fit around your timetable, Explorer Workshops last one hour. We also offer Black History and Dance themes.

With a minimum booking of three hours, we can run three different workshops in a morning (five in a full day) so you can cover five topics in a single day.

To find out more about individual Explorer Workshop themes, see our FoundationKS1, or KS2 topics.

As always, the children really enjoyed the workshops. They came back to class buzzing about their experiences and the theme - save the word - linked in well with our literacy festival theme.

Glad we were able to fit the workshops in especially as schools had to close at the end of that week.

We always enjoy having the Perform Team in at our school.

Thank you.

The workshops were great and allowed the pupils to show off their drama skills and talents. We were really impressed with Sarah Annakin, our workshop facilitator, and would happily have her back again!

All staff were thoroughly impressed with Alison's ability to weave high quality content knowledge with engaging arts based activities. The children retained a great deal of informatin and have spoken highly of their experience at the dinosaur workshop.
