How to engage ALL your pupils in a National Curriculum topic using drama

Perform Explorer Workshops are topic-based sessions available for a range of National Curriculum Foundation, KS1 and KS2 topics.

Facilitated by one of our trained DBS-checked teachers, they use imaginative creative resources, performing arts-based exercises and role-play scenarios to spark children's imaginations and bring your chosen subject matter alive.

Grouped into History, Geography, Science, Communication and Literature-based topics and designed to fit around your timetable, Explorer Workshops last one hour. We also offer Black History and Dance themes.

With a minimum booking of three hours, we can run three different workshops in a morning (five in a full day) so you can cover five topics in a single day.

To find out more about individual Explorer Workshop themes, see our FoundationKS1, or KS2 topics.

Hannah was, as always, engaging, enthusiastic and informative. What a wonderful way to kick-start our pupil's learning about Florence Nightingale!

Thank you!

I was very impressed with Hannah and how she engaged the children. I love that style of learning and felt the content was a suitable level for the age range. The music was appropriate and helped the children focus.

The children really enjoyed the session. They seemed to be really engaged on the topic of internet safety and really understood what it meant. They all did some lovely performances.

Great to see how the workshops are suitably adapted to the different age groups. It was an excellent starting point for a weeks work on Shakespeare.

Bella was amazing. She had brilliant control of the children and included everyone. The content of the workshop was great including the song and rap (which I cant get out my head now!) Thanks again!

I have received very positive feedback from the other teachers regarding the workshop that Sam held with their classes and I was very happy with the content in the session for my own class. Sam was very professional thoughout his visit.

The children were all so engaged, and it was brilliant the way information was weaved into improvisation and activities. Perfect for KS1!
