Free for primary schools

Drama4ALL offers free drama workshops to primary schools in London, Nottingham and the South-East. Last year, over 350,000 KS1 children across 2,000 schools participated in these imaginative and energetic sessions.

Workshop details

Each workshop is 30 minutes long, designed for up to 30 children in a large space like a school hall.

Facilitated by a DBS-checked trained actor, the sessions feature a different theme each term, providing an engaging introduction to the performing arts or a fun treat during the school day.

Is it really free?

Yes! Drama4ALL is sponsored by Perform, the UK's leading provider of drama, dance, and singing classes for children aged 4-12. In exchange for your free workshop, we simply ask for your help in distributing a letter and flyer to parents about Performs weekly classes.

Your workshop leader will also provide information about Perform For Schools drama activities for KS1 and KS2, including topic-based Explorer Workshops, After School Clubs, and INSET sessions designed to enhance classroom learning. You'll also be asked to complete a feedback form to help us continually improve.

Matthew was absolutely wonderful! The teachers enjoyed it as much as the children. His energy was fantastic and he managed the children's behaviour brilliantly without taking away any of the fun. Thank you!

  • Complete our online form and we'll contact you to confirm dates and timings
  • Call us at 020 7255 9134, select the Drama4ALL option, and speak to our Perform For Schools team
  • Please note that workshops are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis, so we recommend booking early

After you've booked

Once your booking is confirmed by email, we will assign a Drama4ALL leader and provide their contact details. A day or two before the workshop, the leader will contact you to confirm arrangements, discuss the timetable, and address any administrative issues.

On the day, your workshop leader will arrive 30 minutes before the session begins. Each 30-minute session will run consecutively, so please ensure class teachers are aware of timings.

At the end of each session, children will be calm, focused, and excited by what they've learned, ready to transition smoothly into their next lesson.
