Perform Explorer Workshops are drama sessions for Foundation, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2, designed to develop how children learn as well as what they learn. Each workshop supports National Curriculum objectives and the Early Years Foundation Stage 7 Areas of Learning, while nurturing curiosity, communication, creativity, problem-solving and social responsibility.
Led by one of our trained, DBS-checked teachers, Explorer Workshops use imaginative play, storytelling, movement and role-play alongside performing arts techniques to spark curiosity, build confidence and bring learning to life. Sessions are carefully adapted so that EYFS pupils learn through play and exploration, while older pupils deepen understanding through collaboration, discussion and performance.
Designed to fit easily around your school timetable, each Explorer Workshop last 50-minutes.
We have an extensive list of books we cover. If you can't find something your class are reading, let us know and we can discuss creating a workshop for you.

Not at all! In fact, we structure our workshops so that they offer a great deal of flexibility to teachers. All of our topics are available throughout the year so we could deliver different workshops to each year group - all on one day.
A hall or studio is ideal as there is a lot of energy in our workshops: the whole class will be encouraged to move around. We can run a session in a classroom as long as it is clear space, has plenty of room for movement of the whole class and is clear of hazards.
We have a large team of fantastic workshop leaders who work for us across London, the Midlands and the South of England. We can normally accommodate your preferred dates if we are given a few week's notice. However, even if it's the next day, please do get in contact as we will try our best to get someone to you. If you are located in a rural location or in the South-West, we can still visit, but may require a little more notice.
