Castles, Knights and Princesses

Step into a magical medieval forest filled with castles, unicorns and enchanted creatures in this interactive adventure to rescue the legendary sword in the stone. Children will become brave knights, clever princesses and mythical beings as they help the Lord or Lady of the Lake defeat the mischievous Morgan Le Fay.

With storytelling, movement, music and role-play, this unforgettable journey brings fantasy to life right in your classroom. Through interactive drama, children will:

  • Transform into a Perfect Princess or a Dazzling Knight
  • Ride a unicorn across the forest to discover The Hidden Castle
  • Sing the what do you find in the forest song
  • Work as a team to outwit Morgan Le Fay and rescue the trapped knights and princesses

Learning objectives:

  • Build confidence in speaking, listening and creative expression
  • Develop coordination, rhythm and physical awareness through movement
  • Encourage empathy and collaboration in problem-solving

Mermaids and Pirates

Set sail on an unforgettable swashbuckling adventure as children join our Pirate to rescue stolen treasure from the sneaky Captain Long Gone Silver!

With mermaids, maps, magic rocks and a crocodile called Chompy, this lively, imaginative drama workshop is full of fun surprises and teamwork. Through song, movement and storytelling, children will

  • Train as pirates with exciting team games and movement challenges
  • Meet magical mermaids and sing with the sea
  • Create their own pirate name and character
  • Work together to find the treasure and outsmart Long Gone Silver

Superheroes

Grab your cape, mask and boots and help save the world from the destructive powers of 'The Bad Boppa' and 'The Party People' by zooming off on an adventure to teach them about the importance of our environment and how to recycle.

  • Create individual Superhero Characters and become them
  • Journey to Party Land in a Superhero Sonic Rocket improvisation

Secret Spies

An undercover mission is underway and we need junior agents to help stop the evil Dr Spider! In this top-secret drama workshop, children are recruited into the world of espionage and trained in the skills of disguise, memory, teamwork and stealth.

With music, games and interactive missions, this fast-paced session will have pupils decoding clues, sneaking past danger, and saving the World Wide Web before it's too late! Through interactive drama, children will:

  • Take part in spy training games including code-breaking, lie-detection, and memory missions.
  • Become characters such as Agent Bond, Brainio, and Dr Spider.
  • Use stealth and teamwork in a dramatic final mission to save the internet.
  • Explore key themes from wartime spy history in a playful, age-appropriate way.

Learning objectives:

  • Develop communication, focus and movement through guided improvisation and storytelling.
  • Work cooperatively and creatively with others to complete tasks and solve problems.
  • Build confidence in performing and responding to imaginative scenarios.

  • History (KS1)- Introduction to World War II and real-life spies like Ian Fleming and the SOE.

The Wizard of Oz

Join us on a magical journey down the Yellow Brick Road in this exciting, interactive drama workshop inspired by L. Frank Baum's The Wizard of Oz.

With songs, silly walks, flying monkeys and enchanted castles, children will become part of the story as they help Dorothy and friends reach the Emerald City and face the Wicked Witch of the West! Children will:

  • Explore classic characters through movement, voice and role-play
  • Sing and perform "We're Off to See the Wizard" as a whole class
  • Outwit flying monkeys and sneak into the Wicked Witch's castle
  • Reflect on their own unique strengths in a magical self-esteem circle

Learning objectives:

  • Develop confidence and creativity through role-play and group performance
  • Strengthen vocal expression, movement and coordination
  • Understand story structure and character motivation in a familiar tale

Curriculum links:

  • English & Drama- Speaking, listening and role-play based on a familiar text

  • KS1 History- Exploring a classic story first published in 1900 and its cultural impact
