Our drama classes in Essex help children aged 4-12 build confidence and fulfil their potential using our unique mix of drama, dance & singing.

Numbers are kept small to ensure lots of individual attention by our experienced teachers - hand-picked for their warmth, energy and professionalism. They'll focus on your child's enthusiasm and engagement in the activities.

My daughter Sophie is enjoying Perform immensely, we were invited to watch the class last week for the last 15 mins and it was brilliant! To see her singing and dancing in sync with all the others was so good I had goose bumps! And she’s only been 4 times so far! Her teacher is impressed with her so I hope my little star will continue to shine and Perform!!!

Max and Elsie-Mae absolutely love coming to Perform each week. They both sing the songs they have been learning on a daily basis and practice their lines. I have noticed Elsie-Mae is becoming so much more confident. Both talk non stop about their time at perform and it’s so lovely to hear what they’ve been up to and what they’ve enjoyed! ( which is everything!)

I was stunned at how quickly Andrew and Ella made Ruth feel comfortable - it was within seconds of the first class, which was brilliant because she can be a bit shy when starting new things. She absolutely loves the classes and I think they're very well structured, with clear links to early Years/KS1 development and ways of practising at home. Communication is excellent too. given the cost of the class, I'm also really grateful that we can pay through tax-free childcare.

Grace has only been there for a short time and her brief viewing of the things they do is just incredible and mind blowing how happy confident and the enjoyment seen in her face as well as others, Jamie is incredible and so professional overall impressed and can't find a fault. My daughter is on her second term at Perform. After watching their performance of Outlaws my son asked if he could join. He has loved every minute! In school he struggles with reading but with a script he is a different boy! His confidence to speak up is wonderful to see and Perform has helped him develop his focus in such a short time. Charlotte is such a natural encourager which is perfect for my two. They love that they are working towards a performance that they can share with family and friends. My daughter is due to take part in her Ruby challenge award this weekend, without the encouragement of Charlotte I wouldn't have imagined her standing in front of someone she doesn't know to perform. Thank you Perform!

If I could rank 100 on 'Your child's reaction to the class' I would! Harry always comes out of the class absolutely beaming, full of happy energy and telling me all about what he has learnt. I don't know what the teachers do in the class but it's clearly working, I couldn't be happier with the way Harry has taken to the class. He really does get a lot from it, it's perfect for him! Thank you!

Perform have been accomodating as I had to change the weekly class twice to help find the right day and time for my child as she goes to Reception. I found the phone call from Andrew before the trial class very helpful and the video of himself introducing the class very helpful as well for myself and more so for my child as she knew who she was going to meet at the trial. Andrew has been very welcoming and reassuring. He has helped my child with settling into the class. I would highly recommend Andrew's class as it's all been a positive experience so far.

Convenient day for weekly classes. Honey looks forward to attending and excitedly tells me about what they did on our way back home. Honey's words "I really enjoy it mummy, it's so much fun and I have a big girl part in blue beards bride" honey also enjoys the app and tries to copy the dancing in the music. I have rated 4 for the songs because I had not heard them before prior to Honey starting at Perform. Perform has a unique approach and I love that the focus is on confidence concentration and communication. That's what attracted me and caught my attention. I have spoken and recommended to some parent friends who seemed interested but currently engaged in other activities on Fridays! Eleanor is such a kind and empathetic teacher and it does sound like she recognises every child as an individual. She also compliments children positive ( from what Honey has shared with me since parents aren't in sessions)

Freya is usually quiet and shy child but since attending Perform sessions her personality has been shining. She is becoming strong confident child. Freya's nursery teacher commented how much has Freya's confidence grown . Thank you Moya and Poppy for such energizing, educational and fun filled sessions.
