Hello and welcome to Perform Rayleigh at Rayleigh Parish Centre - a new kind of drama school that has child development at its very heart. At Perform, we use drama, dance and singing to build children's social skills and help them grow in confidence so they can fulfil their potential.

We started running classes at Rayleigh Parish Centre in April 2026 and are currently here every week during term-time on Fridays.

At Perform Rayleigh, the Producer of the classes is Eleanor and the Teacher is Emily. The sessions are looked after by our Area Partner, Sophie.

The current term runs from 4th September to 18th December with no sessions on 30th October (half-term).

How to get here and parking:

To reach the centre by car, follow Rayleigh High Street via London Road (A129). Turn onto Hockley Road (B1013) near Holy Trinity Church, then take the immediate left into Rectory Garth.

Limited parking is available directly outside the venue. Additional public pay-and-display parking is located nearby in Websters Way car park.

Rayleigh railway station is a short walk away down Crown Hill. Regular bus routes stop along the High Street, a moment from Rectory Garth.

We spend a lot of time recruiting, training and evaluating our wonderful Area Partners, Producers and Teachers and the team at Rayleigh Parish Centre in Rayleigh are no exception. As at all Perform schools, they have all been hand-picked for being enthusiastic, approachable and, of course, fantastic with children. As a result, you can be confident that your child is in the best of hands. Here are the details of the Creative Team at this venue:

Eleanor

I started working for Perform in 2023 and it has been one of my most exciting jobs so far! I joined after moving back to the UK from New Zealand. I love seeing the progression of our children and how their confidence blossoms in class. It's magic! Outside of Perform I regularly perform in pantomimes across the UK, or can be found pet sitting for lots of gorgeous animals!

AREA PARTNER

Sophie

I'm a Perform Teacher, Producer and Area Partner. I trained at the Bristol Old Vic Theatre School and alongside working for Perform have appeared in many television programmes for the BBC and Channel 4. Recently, I've been in several of the Perform shows in the West End! What I love about teaching for Perform is seeing how much children change during their time with us. It is a joy to see children having so much fun as they are learning!
