Welcome to Perform Hornchurch at All Saints Ardleigh Green - where our weekly workshops are not just about having fun. They're also about fostering vital life skills that will stay with your child forever.

We started running classes at All Saints Ardleigh Green in September 2018 and are currently here every week during term-time on Tuesdays.

At Perform Hornchurch, the Producer of the classes is Eleanor and the Teacher is Emily. The sessions are looked after by our Area Partner, Sophie.

The current term runs from 1st September to 15th December with no sessions on 27th October (half-term).

How to get here and parking:

Drive towards Hornchurch via Colchester Road (A12) or Southend Arterial Road (A127). Turn onto Ardleigh Green Road, where the church is situated.

Dedicated parking is available in the church car park on site. Additional parking can be found on surrounding residential roads.

Gidea Park train station is a short distance away. Local bus routes, including the 256, stop directly outside along Ardleigh Green Road.

Creative Team

We spend a lot of time recruiting, training and evaluating our wonderful Area Partners, Producers and Teachers and the team at All Saints Ardleigh Green in Hornchurch are no exception. As at all Perform schools, they have all been hand-picked for being enthusiastic, approachable and, of course, fantastic with children. As a result, you can be confident that your child is in the best of hands. Here are the details of the Creative Team at this venue:

PRODUCER

Eleanor

I started working for Perform in 2023 and it has been one of my most exciting jobs so far! I joined after moving back to the UK from New Zealand. I love seeing the progression of our children and how their confidence blossoms in class. It's magic! Outside of Perform I regularly perform in pantomimes across the UK, or can be found pet sitting for lots of gorgeous animals!

TEACHER

Emily

Teaching at Perform is the highlight of my week. I joined the Perform team in 2023 after completing my Masters at Performers College. Alongside performing professionally, I've discovered a real passion for inspiring young people through drama. Nothing is more rewarding than seeing children grow in confidence, develop new skills, and achieve things they never thought possible. Creating a fun, supportive environment where every child feels encouraged to shine is what I love most about teaching.

AREA PARTNER

Sophie

I'm a Perform Teacher, Producer and Area Partner. I trained at the Bristol Old Vic Theatre School and alongside working for Perform have appeared in many television programmes for the BBC and Channel 4. Recently, I've been in several of the Perform shows in the West End! What I love about teaching for Perform is seeing how much children change during their time with us. It is a joy to see children having so much fun as they are learning!
