Lauren and Hannah are simply the best. They keep Rafe fully engaged for the full 90min class (no easy feat for a 4yr old!) and he spends the rest of the week singing the Perform songs and counting down until his next class. A big thank you!

Welcome to Perform Hampstead at Friends Meeting House - dedicated to building confidence, concentration, communication and coordination using performing arts.

We started running classes at Friends Meeting House in May 2003 and are currently here every week during term-time on Saturdays and Thursdays.

At Perform Hampstead, the Producers of the classes are Jasmine and Lauren and the Teachers are Alice and Lauren. The sessions are looked after by our Area Partners, Oliver and Sophie.

The current term runs from 3rd September to 17th December with no sessions on 29th October (half-term).

How to get here and parking:

Driving from North End Road or Hampstead High Street, head directly onto Heath Street. The venue is situated near the top of the road, close to the junction with Hampstead Square.

On-site parking is not available. There is paid street parking spaces or local pay-and-display bays, though spaces can be limited.

Hampstead Underground Station is a 3 minute walk away. Hampstead Heath Overground Station is roughly a 15 minute walk, and bus routes 46, 210, and 268 stop nearby on Heath Street.

We spend a lot of time recruiting, training and evaluating our wonderful Area Partners, Producers and Teachers and the team at Friends Meeting House in Hampstead are no exception. As at all Perform schools, they have all been hand-picked for being enthusiastic, approachable and, of course, fantastic with children. Hi, I'm Jasmine! I've been part of the Perform family for a year and love helping children grow in confidence, creativity, and skills. Seeing their hard work come to life during show week is so rewarding. Outside of Perform, I'm passionate about health, fitness, and travelling, and I recently had the amazing opportunity to perform in Greece.

PRODUCER

Lauren

I joined Perform in 202o. I am a chatty Mancunian with thirteen nieces and nephews. My adventures as an actor have led me to live in Paris as a dancer in Disneyland, tour the UK visiting the biggest theatres and even into the West End as well as Performing with the Band, Take That. I love using the skills from my acting and family life to put together lessons that will have the children roaring with laugher and achieving things that they never thought possible.

I started working with Perform in 2026. I love using my musical theatre experience to teach children not only the skills of performance but encouraging their creativity and developing their confidence. Outside of Perform I love going to the theatre and enjoy sharing that passion with the children.

AREA PARTNER

Oliver

Hi, I'm Oli! I've been with Perform since 2012 and work as an Area Partner, as well as running my own classes. Outside of Perform, I produce theatre shows and work in artist and live event management. Children have an incredible ability to find joy in the world around them, and that's one of the things I love most about my job. As an Area Partner, it's a privilege to support and develop our Teachers, helping even more children celebrate their individuality and discover what they're capable of.

Sophie

I'm a Perform Teacher, Producer and Area Partner. I trained at the Bristol Old Vic Theatre School and alongside working for Perform have appeared in many television programmes for the BBC and Channel 4. Recently, I've been in several of the Perform shows in the West End! What I love about teaching for Perform is seeing how much children change during their time with us. It is a joy to see children having so much fun as they are learning!
