Welcome to Perform Billericay at Queen's Park Community Church - dedicated to building confidence, concentration, communication and coordination using performing arts.

We started running classes at Queen's Park Community Church in September 2015 and are currently here every week during term-time on Wednesdays.

At Perform Billericay, the Producer of the classes is Emily and the Teacher is Isabel. The sessions are looked after by our Area Partner, Sophie.

The current term runs from 2nd September to 16th December with no sessions on 28th October (half-term).

How to get here and parking:

From Southend Arterial Road (A127), take Noak Hill Road (B1007) towards Billericay. Turn right onto Perry Street, continue as it becomes Queen's Park Avenue, and the church will be on your left.

Dedicated parking is available directly on-site in the church car park off Queen's Park Avenue.

Billericay railway station is approximately one mile away. Local bus services stop regularly along Queen's Park Avenue near the church.

We spend a lot of time recruiting, training and evaluating our wonderful Area Partners, Producers and Teachers and the team at Queen's Park Community Church in Billericay are no exception. As at all Perform schools, they have all been hand-picked for being enthusiastic, approachable and, of course, fantastic with children. Emily

Teaching at Perform is the highlight of my week. I joined the Perform team in 2023 after completing my Masters at Performers College. Alongside performing professionally, I've discovered a real passion for inspiring young people through drama. Nothing is more rewarding than seeing children grow in confidence, develop new skills, and achieve things they never thought possible. Creating a fun, supportive environment where every child feels encouraged to shine is what I love most about teaching.

AREA PARTNER

Sophie

I'm a Perform Teacher, Producer and Area Partner. I trained at the Bristol Old Vic Theatre School and alongside working for Perform have appeared in many television programmes for the BBC and Channel 4. Recently, I've been in several of the Perform shows in the West End! What I love about teaching for Perform is seeing how much children change during their time with us. It is a joy to see children having so much fun as they are learning!
