Jenny Ivleva - Perform Fulham parent

At Perform Fulham at St Etheldreda's Church, our focus is not about teaching rigorous techniques, memorisation and repetition to produce a 'perfect performance'. Instead, we use drama-based games, exercises, songs and dances in an imaginative and fun way to help boost child development.

We started running classes at St Etheldreda's Church in September 2008 and are currently here every week during term-time on Tuesdays.

At Perform Fulham, the Producer of the classes is Amy and the Teacher is Ashley. The schools are looked after by our Area Partner, Jade.

The current term runs from 1st September to 15th December with no sessions on 27th October (half-term).

How to get here and parking:

Drive along Fulham Palace Road (A218) toward Putney Bridge. Turn onto Cloncurry Street, where the church is situated near the junction with Fulham Palace Road.

Metered on-street parking is available on Cloncurry Street and adjacent roads. Note that match-day restrictions apply when Fulham Football Club plays at home.

Putney Bridge Underground Station is a short walk away. Bus routes 74, 220, and 430 stop along Fulham Palace Road close to the venue.

As at all Perform schools, they have all been hand-picked for being enthusiastic, approachable and, of course, fantastic with children. I started teaching and producing with Perform last term after graduating from Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance. I am really passionate about the performing arts and I love watching the children's confidence grow in class every week! I grew up loving musical theatre; the first musical I ever watched was Annie when I was 4 years old.

TEACHER

Ashley

My name is Ashley (Ash to my Perform kids!) and I'm lucky enough to have been teaching with Perform since 2010! I've worked in theatre productions up and down the country, from West End to National Tours, even a stint at sea, but I'm so grateful to be able to return to teaching the amazing children we have at Perform! Seeing even the smallest jump in confidence from a normally reserved or a less confident child is the reason I'm still here all these years later!

AREA PARTNER

Jade

I trained in Musical Theatre at Midlands Academy Of Dance and Drama I started teaching at Perform back in 2006, and I still absolutely love it today! It's so rewarding to see every child flourish and grow in confidence term by term. I am also a Perform Area Partner, so every day brings a different job! Outside of Perform, you'll usually find me at a football pitch or scooter park watching my children play. I also enjoy reformer Pilates and trips to the theatre.
