Welcome to Perform Southgate at St Andrew's Church Hall - dedicated to building confidence, concentration, communication and coordination using performing arts.

We started running classes at St Andrew's Church Hall in January 2022 and are currently here every week during term-time on Wednesdays.

At Perform Southgate, the Producer of the classes is Lucy and the Teacher is Scarlett. The sessions are looked after by our Area Partner, Gemma.

The current term runs from 2nd September to 16th December with no sessions on 28th October (half-term).

How to get here and parking:

If travelling by car from the North Circular Road (A406), take Green Lanes (A105) north towards Southgate Circus, then turn onto Chase Side where the hall is located.

Free parking is available at the adjacent supermarket car park, with additional parking options on surrounding residential side streets.

Southgate Underground station on the Piccadilly line is a short walk away. Multiple local bus services also stop along Chase Side.

Creative Team

We spend a lot of time recruiting, training and evaluating our wonderful Area Partners, Producers and Teachers and the team at St Andrew's Church Hall in Southgate are no exception. As at all Perform schools, they have all been hand-picked for being enthusiastic, approachable and, of course, fantastic with children. As a result, you can be confident that your child is in the best of hands. Here are the details of the Creative Team at this venue:

Lucy

I joined the Perform team in 2022. I absolutely love teaching and inspiring the children at my classes every week. It is a joy to watch them build confidence, make new friends and let their imaginations run free. Outside of Perform, I love watching musicals in the west end, one of my favourites is Frozen!

TEACHER

Scarlett

I've been a part of the Perform team since 2025. I love working at Perform because it's so rewarding seeing the children's confidence grow. They bring so much joy and laughter and watching their personalities shine is so special. Outside of Perform, I love making costumes for shows; my favourite is the mad hatter!

AREA PARTNER

Gemma

I'm one of the Perform Area Partners. I'm so lucky to meet so many wonderful Perform children when I visit different classes and watching their confidence blossom throughout their time with us. My background is musical theatre and I have performed in many different shows in the West End and in theatres around the UK. During my time in Les Miserables, I got to sing at the European football final at Wembley and the 25th anniversary concert at the O2!
