At Perform Primrose Hill at St Paul's CE Primary School, our focus is not about teaching rigorous techniques, memorisation and repetition to produce a 'perfect performance'. Instead, we use drama-based games, exercises, songs and dances in an imaginative and fun way to help boost child development.

We started running classes at St Paul's CE Primary School in January 2018 and are currently here every week during term-time on Saturdays.

At Perform Primrose Hill, the Producer of the classes is Charlotte and the Teacher is Olivia-Faith. The sessions are looked after by our Area Partner, Sophie.

The current term runs from 5th September to 12th December.

How to get here and parking:

Drive via Avenue Road (B525) or Finchley Road (A41), turning onto Elsworthy Road near Primrose Hill. St Paul's CE Primary School is located along Elsworthy Road.

No visitor parking is available on site. On-street pay-and-display parking is available on Elsworthy Road, controlled Monday to Saturday.

Chalk Farm and Swiss Cottage tube stations are both within a 15-minute walk. Local bus routes stop nearby along Avenue Road and Adelaide Road.

Creative Team

We spend a lot of time recruiting, training and evaluating our wonderful Area Partners, Producers and Teachers and the team at St Paul's CE Primary School in Primrose Hill are no exception. As at all Perform schools, they have all been hand-picked for being enthusiastic, approachable and, of course, fantastic with children. Charlotte

I started Producing classes at Perform in 2019. What I love most about teaching is supporting the children to grow in confidence and use a big loud Perform voice. It is always so wonderful to watch them shine in our shows and wow all of their grown ups. Outside of Perform I love traveling to new places, baking cakes and watching musicals.

TEACHER

Olivia-Faith

I'm a teacher at Perform! I love helping the children grow their confidence through singing, acting and dance. When I'm not teaching the children, I am performing in shows across the UK, internationally and in the West End. My favourite Perform game to play with the children is BANANA.

AREA PARTNER

Sophie

I'm a Perform Teacher, Producer and Area Partner. I trained at the Bristol Old Vic Theatre School and alongside working for Perform have appeared in many television programmes for the BBC and Channel 4. Recently, I've been in several of the Perform shows in the West End! What I love about teaching for Perform is seeing how much children change during their time with us. It is a joy to see children having so much fun as they are learning!
