Hello! Welcome to Perform West Hampstead at Emmanuel Church Community Space!

At Perform, we focus on the 4 Cs - confidence, concentration, coordination and communication and every one of our activities is designed to boost these essential life skills.

We started running classes at Emmanuel Church Community Space in April 2018 and are currently here every week during term-time on Mondays.

At Perform West Hampstead, the Producer of the classes is Emily and the Teacher is Gurjot. The schools are looked after by our Area Partner, Gemma.

How to get here and parking:

Drivers can reach the venue via Finchley Road (A41) or West End Lane, turning onto Fortune Green Road and then into Lyncroft Gardens in West Hampstead.

Visitors can use pay-and-display on-street parking on surrounding roads, subject to local council restrictions.

West Hampstead stations (Jubilee line, Overground, and Thameslink) are a ten-minute walk away. Local buses stop nearby along Finchley Road and West End Lane.

Emily

My name is Emily and I've been producing classes with Perform for over 8 years. I love using my experience as an actor to inspire and teach the children. I love seeing your children thrive and hearing all the stories of how much drama has had an impact on them. Outside of Perform, you may have heard my voice on a Tonies box or audiobook.

TEACHER

Gurjot

I've been teaching at Perform since 2024 and am always in awe of the growth in confidence these amazing kids have over the course of a term. I trained as an actor from the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama and when I'm not on stage or screen, I love teaching and facilitating fun drama workshops for kids to enjoy and grow through!

AREA PARTNER

Gemma

I'm one of the Perform Area Partners. I'm so lucky to meet so many wonderful Perform children when I visit different classes and watching their confidence blossom throughout their time with us. My background is musical theatre and I have performed in many different shows in the West End and in theatres around the UK. During my time in Les Miserables, I got to sing at the European football final at Wembley and the 25th anniversary concert at the O2!
