Hello from Perform Gidea Park at St Michael and All Angels Church. Here at Perform, we embrace the uniqueness of every child, offering a distinctive blend of drama, dance and singing to unlock their true potential.

We started running classes at St Michael and All Angels Church in January 2016 and are currently here every week during term-time on Thursdays.

At Perform Gidea Park, the Producer of the classes is Jamie and the Teacher is Lisa. The sessions are looked after by our Area Partner, Gemma.

The current term runs from 3rd September to 17th December with no sessions on 29th October (half-term).

How to get here and parking:

Drive via Eastern Avenue (A12) or Southend Arterial Road (A127) onto Main Road toward Gidea Park. St Michael and All Angels Church is located on Main Road opposite Crossways.

An on-site car park is available for visitors. On-street parking can also be found along Main Road and nearby side streets.

Gidea Park station (Elizabeth line) is a 10-minute walk away. Local buses stop directly outside on Main Road.

We spend a lot of time recruiting, training and evaluating our wonderful Area Partners, Producers and Teachers and the team at St Michael and All Angels Church in Gidea Park are no exception. As at all Perform schools, they have all been hand-picked for being enthusiastic, approachable and, of course, fantastic with children. PRODUCER

Jamie

I have been a Producer at Perform since 2021 after graduating from The Musical Theatre Academy in London. I've also been working as a performer and vocalist since 2017! I love using drama and imaginative play to help develop children's confidence and communication skills - and seeing their progress each week is such a joy and privilege.

TEACHER

Lisa

I have been teaching for Perform since 2017 after graduating from the American Musical Theatre Academy of London. I love helping children build their confidence, spark their creativity, and have lots of fun! My favourite part of each term is watching our young performers shine at their end of term shows, and seeing how much their confidence has grown. Outside of Perform, I enjoy spending time with my family, baking cakes and having disney movie marathons with my nieces and nephews!

AREA PARTNER

Gemma

I'm one of the Perform Area Partners. I'm so lucky to meet so many wonderful Perform children when I visit different classes and watching their confidence blossom throughout their time with us. My background is musical theatre and I have performed in many different shows in the West End and in theatres around the UK. During my time in Les Miserables, I got to sing at the European football final at Wembley and the 25th anniversary concert at the O2!
