A warm and confident welcome to Perform Southsea at St Simon's Church Hall! At Perform, we put child development at the heart of everything we do. Come and try a free class and find out.

We started running classes at St Simon's Church Hall in May 2022 and are currently here every week during term-time on Mondays.

At Perform Southsea, the Producer of the classes is Paradigm and the Teacher is Helin. The sessions are looked after by our Area Partner, Sam.

The current term runs from 7th September to 14th December with no sessions on 26th October (half-term).

How to get here and parking:

Drive via Eastern Road (A2030) or Victoria Road South, turning onto Albert Road toward Waverley Road. St Simon's Church Hall is on the corner of Waverley Road and St Ronan's Road.

No on-site parking available. There is a small car park on St Ronan's Road but must give car registration to avoid penalty. On-street parking along adjacent residential streets.

Fratton railway station is a short walk away. Local buses run regularly along nearby Albert Road, stopping close to the venue.

As at all Perform schools, they have all been hand-picked for being enthusiastic, approachable and, of course, fantastic with children. I absolutely love teaching at Perform! Having recently graduated from Drama Studio London, I have loved every moment of being able to share and explore my training with such wonderful young performers! When I'm not at Perform, you can catch me at the theatre or cinema, watching anything and everything, my childhood favourite being Oliver!

AREA PARTNER

Sam

I have been with Perform since the beginning (almost)! I am an Area Partner and Producer, and love to be able to combine my passion of the performing arts and working with children. Watching their confidence and self esteem grow is the most rewarding thing, and seeing how proud parents are gives me a boost every day. At home I live with two fluffy dogs and love taking my god daughters to the theatre.
