Child development / Drama games / Sticky paper

Sticky Paper is a lively team challenge that builds cooperation and trust.

Children practise non-verbal communication and physical awareness while working together to complete a task that involves just a single sheet of paper!

It is fun, playful and helps children stay calm and focused even under pressure.

How to play

1. Set up

Divide the group into pairs and ask them to stand back-to-back with a sheet of paper held between their upper backs.

2. The challenge

Each pair must walk from one side of the room to the other and back without dropping the paper.

If the paper falls, they return to the starting point.

3. Add variety

Challenge pairs to hold the paper between elbows, knees, foreheads or hips.

You can also make it a team relay, with pairs racing to pass the paper to the next group.
