Hello and welcome to Perform Blackheath at St Michael and All Angels Church Hall - a new kind of drama school that has child development at its very heart. At Perform, we use drama, dance and singing to build children's social skills and help them grow in confidence so they can fulfil their potential.

We started running classes at St Michael and All Angels Church Hall in September 2005 and are currently here every week during term-time on Mondays, Saturdays and Wednesdays.

At Perform Blackheath, the Producers of the classes are Drou and Lillie and the Teachers are Danielle, Oliver and Rebecca. The sessions are looked after by our Area Partners, Gemma, Jade and Oliver.

The current term runs from 2nd September to 16th December with no sessions on 26th to 28th October (half-term).

How to get here and parking:

Drive via Shooters Hill Road (A2) or Blackheath Village, turning onto Blackheath Park and Pond Road. St Michael and All Angels Church Hall is located at 1 Pond Road.

On-site parking is limited. Street parking on Pond Road is within the private Cator Estate, requiring a visitor permit obtained from the hall, or a sign to be placed in car window.

Blackheath railway station is a 5-minute walk away. Buses stop nearby in Blackheath Village.

As at all Perform schools, they have all been hand-picked for being enthusiastic, approachable and, of course, fantastic with children. Drou

I trained at The Royal Central School of Speech and Drama, graduating with a first class Masters in Music Theatre and I've been a Producer at Perform since 2018. I love being able to use my experience as an actor to inspire and teach children, it's so rewarding seeing them grow in confidence and shine in their own way! Outside of Perform, I love traveling, cooking and going on big walks with my chocolate Labrador, Koda!

PRODUCER

Lillie

I have been working with Peform since 2025, and I absolutely love it. Every week I get to use my experience as an actor to help children build confidence, have fun and discover the joys of performing. Seeing them grow, come out of there shells and shine in our classes is one of the most rewarding parts of my job! When I'm not at Perform you'll usually find me gigging as a singer, and you might even spot me popping up in a TV show now an then.

Danielle

I love sharing my passion for dance, singing and acting while helping children build confidence and have fun. Alongside teaching at Perform, I've performed in pantomimes and at the National Theatre. My favourite thing about Perform is watching every child grow in confidence and leave my classes smiling.

Rebecca

I have been working with Perform since March 2026 after graduating from Mountview with an MA in Musical Theatre. I love teaching as I like to encourage children to have confidence in themselves. Outside of Perform I love to be with my dog, play my ukulele and watch theatre shows - my favourite ones are Shrek and Operation Mincemeat.

AREA PARTNER

Gemma

I'm one of the Perform Area Partners. I'm so lucky to meet so many wonderful Perform children when I visit different classes and watching their confidence blossom throughout their time with us. My background is musical theatre and I have performed in many different shows in the West End and in theatres around the UK. During my time in Les Miserables, I got to sing at the European football final at Wembley and the 25th anniversary concert at the O2!

AREA PARTNER

Jade

I trained in Musical Theatre at Midlands Academy Of Dance and Drama I started teaching at Perform back in 2006, and I still absolutely love it today! It's so rewarding to see every child flourish and grow in confidence term by term. I am also a Perform Area Partner, so every day brings a different job! Outside of Perform, you'll usually find me at a football pitch or scooter park watching my children play. I also enjoy reformer Pilates and trips to the theatre.

Oliver

Hi, I'm Oli! I've been with Perform since 2012 and work as an Area Partner, as well as running my own classes. Outside of Perform, I produce theatre shows and work in artist and live event management. Children have an incredible ability to find joy in the world around them, and that's one of the things I love most about my job. As an Area Partner, it's a privilege to support and develop our Teachers, helping even more children celebrate their individuality and discover what they're capable of.
