Hello and welcome to Perform Godalming at Godalming Minster - a new kind of drama school that has child development at its very heart. At Perform, we use drama, dance and singing to build children's social skills and help them grow in confidence so they can fulfil their potential.

We started running classes at Godalming Minster in January 2014 and are currently here every week during term-time on Fridays.

At Perform Godalming, the Producer of the classes is Tom and the Teacher is Samantha. The sessions are looked after by our Area Partner, Gemma.

The current term runs from 4th September to 18th December with no sessions on 30th October (half-term).

How to get here and parking:

To reach the venue from central Godalming, head down the High Street, turn onto Church Street and follow it towards the church end. Alternatively, take Flambard Way (A3100) and turn off at Borough Rd.

There is no on-site parking at the venue, but public pay and display car parks are located nearby on Mint Street and Crown Court.

Godalming railway station is a short 5 min walk away. Local bus services stop regularly along the nearby High Street and Bridge Street both within walking distance.

As at all Perform schools, they have all been hand-picked for being enthusiastic, approachable and, of course, fantastic with children. I've been producing classes for Perform since 2010. Using my performance skills built from training at GSA Conservatoire and underpinned by pantomime, West End and touring productions, I love helping children develop their confidence and performance skills. I adore going to the theatre; Hadestown is current favourite!

TEACHER

Samantha

I have been working with Perform since 2017, after I graduated East15 Acting School in 2016! I love being able to utilise my performer knowledge in teaching and absolutely adore watching the children in my classes grow and develop throughout their time at Perform!

AREA PARTNER

Gemma

I've been producing classes with Perform since 2011. I love using my experience as an actor to inspire and teach children. It is magical to see how much the children grow in confidence through laughter and play at Perform. Outside of Perform I am a Mum of two beautiful children and I love heading to the beach with them for a relaxing day of sun, sea and sand!
