Welcome to Perform Marylebone at The Advent Centre - where our weekly workshops are not just about having fun. They're also about fostering vital life skills that will stay with your child forever.

We started running classes at The Advent Centre in April 2013 and are currently here every week during term-time on Mondays.

At Perform Marylebone, the Producer of the classes is Aled and the Teacher is Katherine. The schools are looked after by our Area Partner, Gemma.

How to get here and parking:

Drive via Edgware Road (A4373) or Marylebone Road (A501), turning onto Crawford Place towards Harrowby Street. Turn off onto Brendon Street; the centre is situated midway along the road. Please use the Brendon Street entrance.

No dedicated on-site parking is provided. Metered street bays and paid car parks are available nearby.

Edgware Road Underground station (Circle, District, and Bakerloo lines) is a 5-minute walk away. Local bus routes stop nearby along Edgware Road and Marylebone Road.

We spend a lot of time recruiting, training and evaluating our wonderful Area Partners, Producers and Teachers and the team at The Advent Centre in Marylebone are no exception. As at all Perform schools, they have all been hand-picked for being enthusiastic, approachable and, of course, fantastic with children. As a result, you can be confident that your child is in the best of hands. Here are the details of the Creative Team at this venue:

PRODUCER

Aled

I'm from South Wales originally; I came to London to train in musical theatre after receiving a scholarship to train at the Urdang Academy. I adore sharing my expertise with budding new actors and to work on confidence with my children in a fun, safe environment. Outside of Perform, I often sing in concerts with my Welsh language choir "Cor Llundain" and will beat anyone in Mario Kart!

TEACHER

Katherine

I started working at Perform in 2016, and I love bringing our the best in my students through fun and laughter. I am a working actor, and have worked for Disneyland Paris and Beaches Resorts as well as regularly performing in the pantomime at the Royal Vauxhall Tavern. It is such a joy to use my skills to build the confidence of my students, and make sure that they feel safe to be their authentic selves!

AREA PARTNER

Gemma

I'm one of the Perform Area Partners. I'm so lucky to meet so many wonderful Perform children when I visit different classes and watching their confidence blossom throughout their time with us. My background is musical theatre and I have performed in many different shows in the West End and in theatres around the UK. During my time in Les Miserables, I got to sing at the European football final at Wembley and the 25th anniversary concert at the O2!
