Creative Team

We spend a lot of time recruiting, training and evaluating our wonderful Area Partners, Producers and Teachers and the team at Summercroft Primary School in Bishops Stortford are no exception. As at all Perform schools, they have all been hand-picked for being enthusiastic, approachable and, of course, fantastic with children. As a result, you can be confident that your child is in the best of hands. Here are the details of the Creative Team at this venue:

PRODUCER

Emma

My name is Emma and I've been running Perform classes since 2020. I love watching children build their confidence through drama, singing and dancing, just as I did at their age! One of my greatest achievements at Perform was watching a child go from being scared to enter the room to taking on the main role in our show.

TEACHER

Marisa

My Perform journey started in 2023. What I love most about teaching children is no class is the same! Each child has their own exciting Perform journey and it's a pleasure watching them grow each week! Whether it's learning catchy songs or getting super creative in our acting games and presentation rehearsals, it is never a dull moment. Outside or Perform, I enjoy watching live music and getting a round of tennis in.

AREA PARTNER

Gemma

I'm one of the Perform Area Partners. I'm so lucky to meet so many wonderful Perform children when I visit different classes and watching their confidence blossom throughout their time with us. My background is musical theatre and I have performed in many different shows in the West End and in theatres around the UK. During my time in Les Miserables, I got to sing at the European football final at Wembley and the 25th anniversary concert at the O2!
