Hi and welcome to Perform Winchester at Holy Trinity Parish Church. At Perform, we're proud of our unique curriculum that harnesses the power of the performing arts to boost children's confidence and social skills.

We started running classes at Holy Trinity Parish Church in October 2011 and are currently here every week during term-time on Saturdays and Thursdays.

At Perform Winchester, the Producer of the classes is Sam and the Teachers are Ella and Maisie. The sessions are looked after by our Area Partners, Sam and Sophie.

The current term runs from 3rd September to 17th December with no sessions on 29th October (half-term).

How to get here and parking:

If driving, follow Andover Road or North Walls (A301) into central Winchester, turning onto Upper Brook Street in the city centre.

There is no on-site parking. Nearby multi-storey and pay-and-display car parks include Middle Brook Street and Brooks Shopping Centre car parks.

Winchester railway station is a ten-minute walk away. Winchester bus station is very close by, with frequent local buses stopping on nearby Silver Hill and High Street.

Creative Team

We spend a lot of time recruiting, training and evaluating our wonderful Area Partners, Producers and Teachers and the team at Holy Trinity Parish Church in Winchester are no exception. As at all Perform schools, they have all been hand-picked for being enthusiastic, approachable and, of course, fantastic with children. Sam

I have been with Perform since the beginning (almost)! I am an Area Partner and Producer, and love to be able to combine my passion of the performing arts and working with children. Watching their confidence and self esteem grow is the most rewarding thing, and seeing how proud parents are gives me a boost every day. At home I live with two fluffy dogs and love taking my god daughters to the theatre.

TEACHER

Ella

My name is Ella and, since joining Perform, I've absolutely loved watching the children's confidence grow. My training in musical theatre enables me to teach everything I've learned with passion; not only as a professional performer but as a person too!

Maisie

I've been teaching with perform since May 2026 and absolutely love helping children grow in confidence, spark their creativity and discover the joy of performing. As a trained performer I bring my experience from Emil Dale Academy and Italia Conti to every class. Outside of Perform, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, watching movies and musicals and travelling!

Sophie

I'm a Perform Teacher, Producer and Area Partner. I trained at the Bristol Old Vic Theatre School and alongside working for Perform have appeared in many television programmes for the BBC and Channel 4. Recently, I've been in several of the Perform shows in the West End! What I love about teaching for Perform is seeing how much children change during their time with us. It is a joy to see children having so much fun as they are learning!
