Hello from Perform West Norwood at Chatsworth Baptist Church. Here at Perform, we embrace the uniqueness of every child, offering a distinctive blend of drama, dance and singing to unlock their true potential.

We started running classes at Chatsworth Baptist Church in January 2025 and are currently here every week during term-time on Wednesdays.

At Perform West Norwood, the Producer of the classes is Joanna and the Teacher is Viola. The schools are looked after by our Area Partner, Sophie.

The current term runs from 2nd September to 16th December with no sessions on 28th October (half-term).

How to get here and parking:

Drivers can access the church by turning off Norwood Road (A215) or Knights Hill (A215) into Chatsworth Way in West Norwood.

On-street parking is available on Chatsworth Way and adjacent residential roads. Drivers should check local street signs for restricted hours or council permit bays.

West Norwood and Tulse Hill railway stations are both within short walking distance. Regular bus services along Norwood Road stop nearby.

Joanna

I have been producing classes at Perform since 2023. It's such a pleasure to watch children's confidence blossom and I am always so impressed with the progress of each and every child in our classes. Outside of Perform, you will often find me running to raise money for Diabetes UK - I am Type One and I love raising awareness!

TEACHER

Viola

I've been teaching at Perform since 2025, and I love seeing how drama builds confidence and creativity in children. Alongside teaching, I've worked as an actor in Babies the Musical and toured Germany in Grease. The most rewarding aspect of teaching is helping young people discover their potential, both on and off stage.

AREA PARTNER

Sophie

I'm a Perform Teacher, Producer and Area Partner. I trained at the Bristol Old Vic Theatre School and alongside working for Perform have appeared in many television programmes for the BBC and Channel 4. Recently, I've been in several of the Perform shows in the West End! What I love about teaching for Perform is seeing how much children change during their time with us. It is a joy to see children having so much fun as they are learning!
