Grace Crook - Perform Biscot parent

A warm welcome to Perform Biscot at The Olive Branch. We offer weekly drama, dance and singing classes for children aged 4-12 using unique songs, dances, games and exercises designed to boost child development.

We started running classes at The Olive Branch in January 2025 and are currently here every week during term-time on Fridays.

At Perform Biscot, the Producer of the classes is Lauren and the Teacher is Martha. The sessions are looked after by our Area Partner, Hannah.

The current term runs from 4th September to 18th December with no sessions on 30th October (half-term).

How to get here and parking:

To reach the church from central Luton, head north along Dunstable Road and turn onto Biscot Road, then continue onto Montrose Avenue.

On-site parking is limited, but street parking is available along Montrose Avenue and nearby residential side roads. Please park responsibly.

Several local buses run regularly along Biscot Road and Beechwood Road, both just a short walk away. Luton station is about a mile away.

Creative Team

We spend a lot of time recruiting, training and evaluating our wonderful Area Partners, Producers and Teachers and the team at The Olive Branch in Biscot are no exception. As at all Perform schools, they have all been hand-picked for being enthusiastic, approachable and, of course, fantastic with children. As a result, you can be confident that your child is in the best of hands. Here are the details of the Creative Team at this venue:

PRODUCER

Lauren

I have been working with Perform since 2022. I love using my experience as an actress and writer to encourage the children to use their big imaginations and always give every activity a try. When I am not teaching, you will find me writing plays or performing in my improvisation group. I absolutely adore being creative!

TEACHER

Martha

I have been working with Perform since 2025. The highlight of my week is watching each child grow in confidence and develop their skills. I particularly love imagination games where you get to really see the children's personality and creativity shine through. On a day off you will find me going on walks, reading or playing my instruments!

AREA PARTNER

Hannah

I've been part of the Perform family since 2015 and work as an Area Partner and Producer. I also oversee our LAMDA classes and deliver SEN training. My favourite part of the job is making children laugh and creating a safe space where they can thrive. Outside of Perform, you'll usually find me reading, walking my dogs or learning something new. I'm particularly interested in Psychology and History!
