Welcome to Perform Bicester at West Bicester Community Centre - dedicated to building confidence, concentration, communication and coordination using performing arts.

We started running classes at West Bicester Community Centre in January 2023 and are currently here every week during term-time on Wednesdays.

At Perform Bicester, the Producer of the classes is Lizzie and the Teacher is Natasha. The schools are looked after by our Area Partner, Hannah.

The current term runs from 2nd September to 16th December with no sessions on 28th October (half-term).

How to get here and parking:

Driving from Bicester town centre, follow Middleton Stoney Road (B4030) west or enter via Howes Lane (A4095), then turn onto Shakespeare Drive and head towards Bowmont Square.

Free customer parking is available on site directly outside the venue within the Bowmont Square shopping precinct.

Local bus services run along Shakespeare Drive with stops close to Bowmont Square. Bicester North and Bicester Village railway stations are both within a short drive or bus connection.

We spend a lot of time recruiting, training and evaluating our wonderful Area Partners, Producers and Teachers and the team at West Bicester Community Centre in Bicester are no exception. As at all Perform schools, they have all been hand-picked for being enthusiastic, approachable and, of course, fantastic with children. Lizzie

Hi, I'm Lizzie! I've been with Perform for over 10 years now. I've always been quite the 'Drama Queen', training in Musical Theatre at University and performing in touring productions for several years before becoming a Teacher and Producer. I love my job and have so much fun working with children, helping to build their confidence and explore their creativity in all kinds of ways.

TEACHER

Natasha

I have been a Teacher at Perform since 2024. I love watching children grow in confidence and love using my skills as an actor to help them show of how amazing they are. I love Shakespeare so my favourite theme has got to be The Dream - which is Perform's unique version on A Midsummer Nights Dream.

AREA PARTNER

Hannah

I've been part of the Perform family since 2015 and work as an Area Partner and Producer. I also oversee our LAMDA classes and deliver SEN training. My favourite part of the job is making children laugh and creating a safe space where they can thrive. Outside of Perform, you'll usually find me reading, walking my dogs or learning something new. I'm particularly interested in Psychology and History!
