Hi and welcome to Perform Bayswater at St Matthew's Church. At Perform, we're proud of our unique curriculum that harnesses the power of the performing arts to boost children's confidence and social skills.

We started running classes at St Matthew's Church in September 2023 and are currently here every week during term-time on Thursdays.

At Perform Bayswater, the Producer of the classes is Lauryn and the Teacher is Leo. The sessions are looked after by our Area Partner, Hannah.

The current term runs from 3rd September to 17th December with no sessions on 29th October (half-term).

How to get here and parking:

Drive via Bayswater Road (A402) or Moscow Road into Bayswater, turning onto St Petersburgh Place. St Matthew's Church is located at 29 St Petersburgh Place.

No on-site visitor parking is available. Pay-and-display is available on St Petersburgh Place, controlled by Westminster Council. Can use Just Park.

Bayswater and Queensway tube stations are both within a 5-minute walk. Local bus routes stop nearby along Bayswater Road and Moscow Road.

As at all Perform schools, they have all been hand-picked for being enthusiastic, approachable and, of course, fantastic with children. I've been teaching and producing classes with Perform since 2024. I have a degree in Acting for Contemporary and Devised Performance and experience performing in professional productions. I also love to see as much theatre as I can! I adore bringing my passion for theatre into our sessions. Watching children grow in confidence, creativity and imagination each term, is the most rewarding experience!

TEACHER

Leo

Hello! I'm an actor who has performed in 7 different countries. When I am not on stage or on set myself, I love teaching for Perform. I joined in 2023 and have to say that every child teaches me something new. Their joy and sense of play inspire me and make my week, every week.

AREA PARTNER

Hannah

I've been part of the Perform family since 2015 and work as an Area Partner and Producer. I also oversee our LAMDA classes and deliver SEN training. My favourite part of the job is making children laugh and creating a safe space where they can thrive. Outside of Perform, you'll usually find me reading, walking my dogs or learning something new. I'm particularly interested in Psychology and History!
