Welcome to Perform Bermondsey at Bermondsey Village Hall - where our weekly workshops are not just about having fun. They're also about fostering vital life skills that will stay with your child forever.

We started running classes at Bermondsey Village Hall in January 2023 and are currently here every week during term-time on Fridays.

At Perform Bermondsey, the Producer of the classes is Kristin and the Teacher is Luisa. The sessions are looked after by our Area Partner, Hannah.

The current term runs from 4th September to 18th December with no sessions on 30th October (half-term).

How to get here and parking:

To reach the venue by car, drive along Borough High Street (A3) or Long Lane (A2198), turn onto Weston Street and then turn into Kirby Grove.

Parking is very limited. Metered pay-and-display parking is available on surrounding roads like Weston Street and Leathermarket Street.

London Bridge and Borough station are both within a ten-minute walk. Local bus routes 21, 35, 133, and C10 stop along nearby Borough High Street.

We spend a lot of time recruiting, training and evaluating our wonderful Area Partners, Producers and Teachers and the team at Bermondsey Village Hall in Bermondsey are no exception. As at all Perform schools, they have all been hand-picked for being enthusiastic, approachable and, of course, fantastic with children. As a result, you can be confident that your child is in the best of hands. Here are the details of the Creative Team at this venue:

Kristin

I joined Perform's team in 2021. I love using my experience as a theatre-maker to help create a space where every student feels empowered to explore their imagination. There is nothing more rewarding than seeing a child grow in confidence and find their unique voice in class. When I'm not teaching, you can usually find me travelling or watching the latest theatre shows!

TEACHER

Luisa

I've been with Perform since 2024. One of my favourite things about teaching is witnessing the moment when a child overcomes something they've been afraid of, like speaking in front of an audience. You can see it in their stance and facial expression how proud they are of themselves, and there is nothing like it. Outside Perform, I'm an actor and stand-up comedian.

AREA PARTNER

Hannah

I've been part of the Perform family since 2015 and work as an Area Partner and Producer. I also oversee our LAMDA classes and deliver SEN training. My favourite part of the job is making children laugh and creating a safe space where they can thrive. Outside of Perform, you'll usually find me reading, walking my dogs or learning something new. I'm particularly interested in Psychology and History!
