Hi and welcome to Perform Abingdon at Christ Church Abingdon. At Perform, we're proud of our unique curriculum that harnesses the power of the performing arts to boost children's confidence and social skills.

We started running classes at Christ Church Abingdon in February 2011 and are currently here every week during term-time on Saturdays.

At Perform Abingdon, the Producer of the classes is Adam and the Teacher is Lizzie. The schools are looked after by our Area Partner, Gemma.

The current term runs from 5th September to 12th December.

How to get here and parking:

Drivers can reach the venue by taking the Abingdon exit from the Oxford Road (A34) onto Twelve Acre Drive, turning onto Radley Road and then into Northcourt Road.

Free parking is available in the dedicated car park on site, directly adjacent to the church building.

Regular local bus services stop along nearby Oxford Road and Radley Road. Culham and Radley railway stations are a short drive or bus journey away.

I've been producing classes with Perform since 2021. Teaching at Perform is the highlight of my week and I love helping children grow in confidence, use their imagination and discover what they're capable of. Alongside teaching, I have been fortunate enough to perform professionally in the UK and internationally. Watching the children shine during Show Week is always a highlight!

TEACHER

Lizzie

Hi, I'm Lizzie! I've been with Perform for over 10 years now. I've always been quite the 'Drama Queen', training in Musical Theatre at University and performing in touring productions for several years before becoming a Teacher and Producer. I love my job and have so much fun working with children, helping to build their confidence and explore their creativity in all kinds of ways.

AREA PARTNER

Gemma

I've been producing classes with Perform since 2011. I love using my experience as an actor to inspire and teach children. It is magical to see how much the children grow in confidence through laughter and play at Perform. Outside of Perform I am a Mum of two beautiful children and I love heading to the beach with them for a relaxing day of sun, sea and sand!
