Hello from Perform Watford at Watford Quaker Meeting House. Here at Perform, we embrace the uniqueness of every child, offering a distinctive blend of drama, dance and singing to unlock their true potential.

We started running classes at Watford Quaker Meeting House in January 2020 and are currently here every week during term-time on Fridays.

At Perform Watford, the Producer of the classes is Lewis and the Teacher is Marisa. The sessions are looked after by our Area Partner, Hannah.

The current term runs from 4th September to 18th December with no sessions on 30th October (half-term).

How to get here and parking:

When driving from Hempstead Road (A411) or St Albans Road (A412), turn onto Langley Road and continue until turning onto Church Road, where the venue is located.

Limited free parking is available on site at the venue, with additional street parking available on neighbouring residential roads like Grange Close.

Watford Junction railway station is about three-quarters of a mile away. Local buses stop nearby on Hempstead Road at the Langley Road stop.

We spend a lot of time recruiting, training and evaluating our wonderful Area Partners, Producers and Teachers and the team at Watford Quaker Meeting House in Watford are no exception. As at all Perform schools, they have all been hand-picked for being enthusiastic, approachable and, of course, fantastic with children. Lewis

I have been teaching and producing classes with Perform since 2019. It's awesome to teach and inspire children every week, using the skillset I've built through the last 15 years. I've worked in the world of theatre as part of a children's theatre company, as well as in lighting and sound. I love coming to class each week and creating a space for children to discover and showcase their amazing talent and personalities!

TEACHER

Marisa

My Perform journey started in 2023. What I love most about teaching children is no class is the same! Each child has their own exciting Perform journey and it's a pleasure watching them grow each week! Whether it's learning catchy songs or getting super creative in our acting games and presentation rehearsals, it is never a dull moment. Outside or Perform, I enjoy watching live music and getting a round of tennis in.

AREA PARTNER

Hannah

I've been part of the Perform family since 2015 and work as an Area Partner and Producer. I also oversee our LAMDA classes and deliver SEN training. My favourite part of the job is making children laugh and creating a safe space where they can thrive. Outside of Perform, you'll usually find me reading, walking my dogs or learning something new. I'm particularly interested in Psychology and History!
