Hamciga Shanshayan - Perform Worthing parent

A warm welcome to Perform Worthing at St John The Divine Church Hall. We offer weekly drama, dance and singing classes for children aged 4-12 using unique songs, dances, games and exercises designed to boost child development.

We started running classes at St John The Divine Church Hall in September 2021 and are currently here every week during term-time on Tuesdays.

At Perform Worthing, the Producer of the classes is Samantha and the Teacher is Mylo. The schools are looked after by our Area Partner, Sam.

The current term runs from 1st September to 15th December with no sessions on 27th October (half-term).

How to get here and parking:

Drive along Westcourt Road or Tarring Road, turning onto Elm Grove and then onto Ripley Road, where the church hall is located.

There is a small venue car park, as well as on-street parking along Ripley Road and adjacent residential streets.

West Worthing railway station is just a short walk away. Local bus services also run frequently along nearby Tarring Road and Westcourt Road.

We spend a lot of time recruiting, training and evaluating our wonderful Area Partners, Producers and Teachers and the team at St John The Divine Church Hall in Worthing are no exception. As at all Perform schools, they have all been hand-picked for being enthusiastic, approachable and, of course, fantastic with children. I have been working with Perform since 2017, after I graduated East15 Acting School in 2016! I love being able to utilise my performer knowledge in teaching and absolutely adore watching the children in my classes grow and develop throughout their time at Perform!

TEACHER

Mylo

I am an actor-musician and performing arts tutor based in Brighton. I have been producing classes with Perform since September 2025 and from the off I have been impressed by the creativity on display from the children I teach. Watching their faces light up as we embark on our adventures is a particular highlight of mine!

AREA PARTNER

Sam

I have been with Perform since the beginning (almost)! I am an Area Partner and Producer, and love to be able to combine my passion of the performing arts and working with children. Watching their confidence and self esteem grow is the most rewarding thing, and seeing how proud parents are gives me a boost every day. At home I live with two fluffy dogs and love taking my god daughters to the theatre.
