A warm welcome to Perform Bromley at St John The Evangelist Church. We offer weekly drama, dance and singing classes for children aged 4-12 using unique songs, dances, games and exercises designed to boost child development.

We started running classes at St John The Evangelist Church in November 2004 and are currently here every week during term-time on Fridays.

At Perform Bromley, the Producer of the classes is Caitlin and the Teacher is Rebecca. The sessions are looked after by our Area Partner, Oliver.

The current term runs from 4th September to 18th December with no sessions on 30th October (half-term).

How to get here and parking:

Drive via London Road (A21) or Kentish Way (A21) towards central Bromley, then turn onto Park Road, where the church sits at the corner of Park Grove.

A dedicated church car park is available behind the building, accessed via Park Grove. Additional pay-and-display parking can be found on surrounding streets.

Bromley North and Sundridge Park stations are both a ten-minute walk away. Local bus routes stop nearby along London Road and in central Bromley.

We spend a lot of time recruiting, training and evaluating our wonderful Area Partners, Producers and Teachers and the team at St John The Evangelist Church in Bromley are no exception. As at all Perform schools, they have all been hand-picked for being enthusiastic, approachable and, of course, fantastic with children. I've been with Perform since 2016. I love seeing the developments in each and every child I have the pleasure of seeing each week and focussing on their individual journeys. Alongside producing and teaching weekly workshops, I have the pleasure of working on Perform's West End shows as well!

TEACHER

Rebecca

I joined Perform's teaching team in 2025 after graduating as an actor musician from Rose Bruford College. I love using my experience as an actor and musician to inspire young people and enjoy seeing how much their confidence grows over a term. Outside of Perform you'll find me making music and playing my guitar.

AREA PARTNER

Oliver

Hi, I'm Oli! I've been with Perform since 2012 and work as an Area Partner, as well as running my own classes. Outside of Perform, I produce theatre shows and work in artist and live event management. Children have an incredible ability to find joy in the world around them, and that's one of the things I love most about my job. As an Area Partner, it's a privilege to support and develop our Teachers, helping even more children celebrate their individuality and discover what they're capable of.
