Dylan came out of his trial buzzing. Lots of different and interesting games and tasks. He clearly enjoyed it and will be signing up to the term. Dominic was welcoming and encouraging and we appreciated the follow up call too.

Hello from Perform Wokingham at Wokingham Methodist Church Hall. Here at Perform, we embrace the uniqueness of every child, offering a distinctive blend of drama, dance and singing to unlock their true potential.

We started running classes at Wokingham Methodist Church Hall in September 2003 and are currently here every week during term-time on Fridays and Saturdays.

At Perform Wokingham, the Producers of the classes are Dominic and Miranda and the Teachers are Dominic and Grace. The sessions are looked after by our Area Partners, Gemma and Sophie.

The current term runs from 4th September to 18th December with no sessions on 30th October (half-term).

How to get here and parking:

If driving from the town centre, follow Broad Street onto Rose Street. If arriving via Reading Road (A329), turn onto Shute End and continue into the town center before turning onto Rose Street.

Pay-and-display parking is available nearby at the Rose Street multi-storey car park or Easthampstead Road car park, both within a short walking distance.

Wokingham train station is a ten-minute walk away. Local buses stop nearby on Broad Street.

Creative Team

We spend a lot of time recruiting, training and evaluating our wonderful Area Partners, Producers and Teachers and the team at Wokingham Methodist Church Hall in Wokingham are no exception. As at all Perform schools, they have all been hand-picked for being enthusiastic, approachable and, of course, fantastic with children. Dominic

I am a Producer here at Perform! I have been working for Perform since 2021 and love bringing my theatrical experiences to help young children with their growth and development! I studied for three years at Bath Spa University, graduating in 2015 and have been treading the boards ever since! My hope and determination is to watch every child who attends Perform, grow and reach their full potential!

PRODUCER

Miranda

I've been teaching with Perform since 2009, and it has been a privilege to watch so many children grow in confidence, creativity and imagination over the years. I'm also an actress and writer, so I love bringing my industry experience into the classroom. Outside of Perform, I have two wonderful children and a very supportive partner, and family time is where I'm happiest.

Dominic

I am a Producer here at Perform! I have been working for Perform since 2021 and love bringing my theatrical experiences to help young children with their growth and development! Grace

I joined the Perform team after graduating from the Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts. As an actor I have worked professionally across stage and screen and I love using my experience to teach and inspire my students. It's so incredible to watch how the children's confidence and skills grow and grow each week! Outside of Perform I enjoy cooking new recipes and writing songs.

AREA PARTNER

Gemma

I've been producing classes with Perform since 2011. I love using my experience as an actor to inspire and teach children. It is magical to see how much the children grow in confidence through laughter and play at Perform. Outside of Perform I am a Mum of two beautiful children and I love heading to the beach with them for a relaxing day of sun, sea and sand!

AREA PARTNER

Sophie

I'm a Perform Teacher, Producer and Area Partner. I trained at the Bristol Old Vic Theatre School and alongside working for Perform have appeared in many television programmes for the BBC and Channel 4. Recently, I've been in several of the Perform shows in the West End! What I love about teaching for Perform is seeing how much children change during their time with us. It is a joy to see children having so much fun as they are learning!
