A warm and confident welcome to Perform Chichester at St Michael's Church Hall! At Perform, we put child development at the heart of everything we do. Come and try a free class and find out.

We started running classes at St Michael's Church Hall in April 2024 and are currently here every week during term-time on Mondays.

At Perform Chichester, the Producer of the classes is David and the Teacher is Millie. The sessions are looked after by our Area Partner, Sam.

The current term runs from 7th September to 14th December with no sessions on 26th October (half-term).

How to get here and parking:

Drive via Broyle Road (A286) northbound from Chichester city centre, turning onto Lavant Road and then onto Summersdale Road. St Michael's Church Hall is located just past the University.

A small on-site car park is available at the hall. Additional on-street parking can be found along Summersdale Road and nearby residential side streets.

Chichester railway station is roughly a 30-minute walk or short taxi ride away. Local buses run regularly along nearby Broyle Road and Lavant Road.

We spend a lot of time recruiting, training and evaluating our wonderful Area Partners, Producers and Teachers and the team at St Michael's Church Hall in Chichester are no exception. As at all Perform schools, they have all been hand-picked for being enthusiastic, approachable and, of course, fantastic with children. PRODUCER

David

I've been producing classes with Perform since 2017. I'm an experienced children's theatre actor, having toured major theatres across the UK and internationally. I've played some of the most popular children's characters in TV and literature, including Daddy Pig from Peppa Pig and Elmer the Patchwork Elephant. I love having the opportunity to inspire children and use my theatrical skills to help them develop their confidence as well as have the most fun every single week.

TEACHER

Millie

Hello! My name is Millie, and I'm a recent graduate of Laine Theatre Arts. I'm passionate about performing arts and absolutely love teaching children, especially seeing their confidence grow and watching them discover their own love for performing. Outside of teaching and performing, I love cooking and getting creative through upcycling and bringing new life to old clothes. I'm so excited to share my passion and help inspire the next generation of performers!

AREA PARTNER

Sam

I have been with Perform since the beginning (almost)! I am an Area Partner and Producer, and love to be able to combine my passion of the performing arts and working with children. Watching their confidence and self esteem grow is the most rewarding thing, and seeing how proud parents are gives me a boost every day. At home I live with two fluffy dogs and love taking my god daughters to the theatre.
