Welcome to Perform Southfields at St Barnabus Church. Here in Southfields, we offer drama, dance and singing sessions with a unique focus on fun and child development. Come and try a free class so you can see the benefits for yourself.

We started running classes at St Barnabus Church in January 2008 and are currently here every week during term-time on Fridays and Saturdays.

At Perform Southfields, the Producers of the classes are Aimee and Katie and the Teachers are Aimee and Paradigm. The schools are looked after by our Area Partner, Sophie.

The current term runs from 4th September to 18th December with no sessions on 30th October (half-term).

How to get here and parking:

Driving along Merton Road or Replingham Road, turn onto Lavenham Road. The church sits along Lavenham Road between Revelstoke Road and Elborough Street.

No on-site parking is available. On-street parking in surrounding roads is permit-restricted 1.30pm2.30pm weekdays, but free after 2.30pm.

Southfields Underground station (District line) is roughly a ten-minute walk away. Regular local bus services also stop along nearby Merton Road and Replingham Road.

I've been producing at Perform since graduating from drama school in 2022. I adore teaching and using my acting experience to inspire children and help them reach their full potential! My favourite Perform show is 'Fairytale Forest' as I'm a huge fan of anything magical! Outside of Perform, I spend my time acting, dancing and watching films - my current favourite is Harry Potter!

I've been producing classes at Perform since 2017. My favourite part about working at Perform is watching the children grow in confidence each and every week and seeing how much fun they're having up on stage with their friends. Outside of Perform, I love travelling and exploring new places!

I absolutely love teaching at Perform! Having recently graduated from Drama Studio London, I have loved every moment of being able to share and explore my training with such wonderful young performers! When I'm not at Perform, you can catch me at the theatre or cinema, watching anything and everything, my childhood favourite being Oliver!

Sophie

I'm a Perform Teacher, Producer and Area Partner. I trained at the Bristol Old Vic Theatre School and alongside working for Perform have appeared in many television programmes for the BBC and Channel 4. Recently, I've been in several of the Perform shows in the West End! What I love about teaching for Perform is seeing how much children change during their time with us. It is a joy to see children having so much fun as they are learning!
