Welcome to Perform Twyford at Twyford Youth Centre - where our weekly workshops are not just about having fun. They're also about fostering vital life skills that will stay with your child forever.

We started running classes at Twyford Youth Centre in October 2012 and are currently here every week during term-time on Saturdays and Wednesdays.

At Perform Twyford, the Producer of the classes is Catherine and the Teachers are Bella and Katherine. The sessions are looked after by our Area Partners, Gemma and Sophie.

The current term runs from 2nd September to 16th December with no sessions on 28th October (half-term).

How to get here and parking:

Driving from New Bath Road (A4), turn south onto Wargrave Road toward Twyford village centre, then turn onto London Road and take Loddon Hall Road to reach the centre.

On-site parking is available at the venue. Additional parking can be found at nearby public car parks or on surrounding local streets where permitted.

Twyford railway station is a short walk away, providing regular train connections. Local buses also stop nearby along London Road and the High Street.

As at all Perform schools, they have all been hand-picked for being enthusiastic, approachable and, of course, fantastic with children. Hi, I'm Catherine, although everyone calls me Cat! I've been part of Perform since 2016, and I instantly fell in love with the fun, laughter, and the magic of teaching through theatre and imaginative play. Watching children grow in confidence, discover their creativity, and shine both on and off the stage is what inspires me every day. I love bringing characters to life to make every class exciting, memorable, and full of laughter.

Bella

I joined Perform's teaching team in 2026 after graduating with a BA (Hons) in Acting and Performance from Solent University. I am passionate about helping children build confidence through creativity and performance. I aim to create a welcoming environment where every child feels supported to try new things, make friends and have fun while developing their skills.

Katherine

I've been teaching at Perform since 2022. I've been performing since the age of 5 and have a degree in Musical Theatre from Millennium Performing Arts. My favourite thing about teaching at Perform is seeing the journey the children go through during their time with us. Outside of Perform, I love reading and going to see live theatre.

AREA PARTNER

Gemma

I've been producing classes with Perform since 2011. I love using my experience as an actor to inspire and teach children. It is magical to see how much the children grow in confidence through laughter and play at Perform. Outside of Perform I am a Mum of two beautiful children and I love heading to the beach with them for a relaxing day of sun, sea and sand!

Sophie

I'm a Perform Teacher, Producer and Area Partner. I trained at the Bristol Old Vic Theatre School and alongside working for Perform have appeared in many television programmes for the BBC and Channel 4. Recently, I've been in several of the Perform shows in the West End! What I love about teaching for Perform is seeing how much children change during their time with us. It is a joy to see children having so much fun as they are learning!
