Creative Team

We spend a lot of time recruiting, training and evaluating our wonderful Area Partners, Producers and Teachers and the team at Christ Church Centre in Tunbridge Wells are no exception. As at all Perform schools, they have all been hand-picked for being enthusiastic, approachable and, of course, fantastic with children. As a result, you can be confident that your child is in the best of hands. Here are the details of the Creative Team at this venue:

PRODUCER

Ila

I've been producing classes for Perform since 2007! I have a degree in Drama and Theatre Arts and it's such a joy being able to use my knowledge and passion to help children confidently express themselves. When I'm not running Perform classes, I'm busy looking after my own children and enjoying trips to the theatre.

TEACHER

Matthew

I've been teaching for Perform since 2018, in that time I've loved seeing the classes I've taught grow in confidence and performance skills. I also love getting to become all the colourful characters we meet in our adventures and games. When I'm not teaching for Perform, I work as a professional actor. My favourite time of year is Christmas when I play the Conductor on The Polar Express in Norfolk and get to spend the season hanging out with the real Santa!

AREA PARTNER

Jade

I trained in Musical Theatre at Midlands Academy Of Dance and Drama I started teaching at Perform back in 2006, and I still absolutely love it today! It's so rewarding to see every child flourish and grow in confidence term by term. I am also a Perform Area Partner, so every day brings a different job! Outside of Perform, you'll usually find me at a football pitch or scooter park watching my children play. I also enjoy reformer Pilates and trips to the theatre.

Sylvie is a very shy little girl, and likes to observe rather than take part. I have seen she is getting involved in the fun games which is so wonderful to see and she talks about it a lot which is great.
