At Perform Purley at Christ Church Purley, our focus is not about teaching rigorous techniques, memorisation and repetition to produce a 'perfect performance'. Instead, we use drama-based games, exercises, songs and dances in an imaginative and fun way to help boost child development.

We started running classes at Christ Church Purley in September 2010 and are currently here every week during term-time on Mondays.

At Perform Purley, the Producer of the classes is Eleanor Meg and the Teacher is Danielle. The sessions are looked after by our Area Partner, Gemma.

The current term runs from 7th September to 14th December with no sessions on 26th October (half-term).

Creative Team

We spend a lot of time recruiting, training and evaluating our wonderful Area Partners, Producers and Teachers and the team at Christ Church Purley in Purley are no exception. As at all Perform schools, they have all been hand-picked for being enthusiastic, approachable and, of course, fantastic with children. As a result, you can be confident that your child is in the best of hands. Here are the details of the Creative Team at this venue:

PRODUCER

Eleanor Meg

I have been producing at Perform since 2023. I am an opera singing and actor when I'm not at Perform and I also teach private signing lesson to all ages. It's so rewarding to work at a place where you get to see kids flourish, grow into super young performers and find their own confidence and love for the stage.

TEACHER

Danielle

I love sharing my passion for dance, singing and acting while helping children build confidence and have fun. Alongside teaching at Perform, I've performed in pantomimes and at the National Theatre. My favourite thing about Perform is watching every child grow in confidence and leave my classes smiling.

AREA PARTNER

Gemma

I've been producing classes with Perform since 2011. I love using my experience as an actor to inspire and teach children. It is magical to see how much the children grow in confidence through laughter and play at Perform. Outside of Perform I am a Mum of two beautiful children and I love heading to the beach with them for a relaxing day of sun, sea and sand!
