Hello! Welcome to Perform Herne Hill at Carnegie Community Hub!

At Perform, we focus on the 4 Cs - confidence, concentration, coordination and communication and every one of our activities is designed to boost these essential life skills.

We started running classes at Carnegie Community Hub in September 2022 and are currently here every week during term-time on Fridays.

At Perform Herne Hill, the Producer of the classes is Hollie and the Teacher is Gabrielle. The sessions are looked after by our Area Partner, Oliver.

The current term runs from 4th September to 18th December with no sessions on 30th October (half-term).

How to get here and parking:

To reach the hub by car, travel via Camberwell Green along Camberwell Road or via Brixton Hill, turning onto Denmark Hill and following Herne Hill Road directly to the venue.

On-street parking bays are located along nearby residential roads.

Loughborough Junction, Herne Hill, and Denmark Hill railway stations are all within walking distance. Local bus routes stop nearby along Herne Hill Road and Denmark Hill.

Creative Team

We spend a lot of time recruiting, training and evaluating our wonderful Area Partners, Producers and Teachers and the team at Carnegie Community Hub in Herne Hill are no exception. As at all Perform schools, they have all been hand-picked for being enthusiastic, approachable and, of course, fantastic with children. As a result, you can be confident that your child is in the best of hands. Here are the details of the Creative Team at this venue:

PRODUCER

Hollie

I have been producing for Perform since 2019. Watching children find their voice and sense of self through the magic of theatre is the best part of my job. When I'm not teaching, you can find me creating choreography for musicals and young performers!

TEACHER

Gabrielle

I've been teaching with Perform since 2026. I love working with children and seeing their self-belief and individuality grow week to week. Watching the children's confidence flourish is amazing to see. Outside of Perform, I enjoy going to the theatre to watch plays and musicals - my favourite musical is The Lion King!

AREA PARTNER

Oliver

Hi, I'm Oli! I've been with Perform since 2012 and work as an Area Partner, as well as running my own classes. Outside of Perform, I produce theatre shows and work in artist and live event management. Children have an incredible ability to find joy in the world around them, and that's one of the things I love most about my job. As an Area Partner, it's a privilege to support and develop our Teachers, helping even more children celebrate their individuality and discover what they're capable of.
