At Perform Great Missenden at Oldham Hall, our focus is not about teaching rigorous techniques, memorisation and repetition to produce a 'perfect performance'. Instead, we use drama-based games, exercises, songs and dances in an imaginative and fun way to help boost child development.

We are due to start running classes at Oldham Hall on the 10th September and will be here on Thursdays during term-time.

At Perform Great Missenden, the Producer of the classes will be Claire and the Teacher will be Jade. The session wil be looked after by our Area Partner, Hannah.

How to get here and parking:

Drive via London Road (A413) into Great Missenden, turning onto Link Road. Follow this toward the village centre and proceed onto Church Street, which leads into The Square where the venue sits.

The venue sits at the bottom of the hill, next to the school. Limited street parking is along High Street. For longer visits, use Link Road car park or the station car park, both a brief walk away.

Great Missenden train station is a five-minute walk. Local buses stop nearby on High Street.

I joined the Perform team in 2010 after graduating from Laine Theatre Arts. After spending a few years performing professionally, I realised my true passion was teaching. I've dedicated most of my career to helping children build confidence, creativity and life skills through the performing arts. I love seeing them grow and flourish each week. Being part of their journey is a privilege and the reason I still love what I do!

TEACHER

Jade

I am one of the Producers and Teachers here at Perform. I've been working in the theatre industry since 2019 and absolutely love using my experiences and training to teach and inspire children. It is such a joy to come to class every week and watch the children grow their confidence.

AREA PARTNER

Hannah

I've been part of the Perform family since 2015 and work as an Area Partner and Producer. I also oversee our LAMDA classes and deliver SEN training. My favourite part of the job is making children laugh and creating a safe space where they can thrive. Outside of Perform, you'll usually find me reading, walking my dogs or learning something new. I'm particularly interested in Psychology and History!
