Holly Marriott - Perform Virginia Water parent

Hello from Perform Virginia Water at Virginia Water Community Association. Here at Perform, we embrace the uniqueness of every child, offering a distinctive blend of drama, dance and singing to unlock their true potential.

We started running classes at Virginia Water Community Association in January 2022 and are currently here every week during term-time on Mondays.

At Perform Virginia Water, the Producer of the classes is Georgia and the Teacher is Poppy. The sessions are looked after by our Area Partner, Gemma.

The current term runs from 7th September to 14th December with no sessions on 26th October (half-term).

How to get here and parking:

If driving from Wellington Avenue or Christchurch Road (A30), head into Trumps Green and turn onto Beechmount Avenue, where the venue is located.

On-site parking is available at the centre, with additional street parking along nearby local roads.

Virginia Water train station is a 15-minute walk away, offering services to Reading and London Waterloo. Local buses stop nearby.

Creative Team

We spend a lot of time recruiting, training and evaluating our wonderful Area Partners, Producers and Teachers and the team at Virginia Water Community Association in Virginia Water are no exception. As at all Perform schools, they have all been hand-picked for being enthusiastic, approachable and, of course, fantastic with children. As a result, you can be confident that your child is in the best of hands. Here are the details of the Creative Team at this venue:

Georgia

I've been part of the Perform team since 2024 and love helping children grow through performing arts. I trained at the Oxford School of Drama and Drama Studio London, and have toured with the Young Shakespeare Company and with the Phoenix Theatre Collective during their pantomime seasons.

TEACHER

Poppy

Teaching at Perform is one of the main highlights of my week! I love using my experience as an actor to help children develop their communication, coordination, confidence, and concentration in a fun, supportive environment. Every show week, I'm always so proud to see how much they've grown. Outside of Perform, I love seeing West End shows, and my current favourite is Hercules!

AREA PARTNER

Gemma

I've been producing classes with Perform since 2011. I love using my experience as an actor to inspire and teach children. It is magical to see how much the children grow in confidence through laughter and play at Perform. Outside of Perform I am a Mum of two beautiful children and I love heading to the beach with them for a relaxing day of sun, sea and sand!
