Hello! Welcome to Perform Petts Wood at Lakeswood Hall!

At Perform, we focus on the 4 Cs - confidence, concentration, coordination and communication and every one of our activities is designed to boost these essential life skills.

We started running classes at Lakeswood Hall in September 2010 and are currently here every week during term-time on Wednesdays.

At Perform Petts Wood, the Producer of the classes is Drou and the Teacher is Anastasia. The sessions are looked after by our Area Partner, Gemma.

The current term runs from 2nd September to 16th December with no sessions on 28th October (half-term).

How to get here and parking:

To reach the venue by car, approach Petts Wood via Sevenoaks Road (A21) or Crestway (A208), turn onto Chislehurst Road, and then turn into Queensway.

The venue is opposite Morrisons, but enter from behind on Lakeswood Road. There is a small car park, and paid parking is also available nearby on Station Square, Morrisons and along Queensway.

Petts Wood railway station is less than a five-minute walk away. Local bus routes including the 208, 273, 661, and R3 stop nearby on Station Square.

We spend a lot of time recruiting, training and evaluating our wonderful Area Partners, Producers and Teachers and the team at Lakeswood Hall in Petts Wood are no exception. As at all Perform schools, they have all been hand-picked for being enthusiastic, approachable and, of course, fantastic with children. I trained at The Royal Central School of Speech and Drama, graduating with a first class Masters in Music Theatre and I've been a Producer at Perform since 2018. I love being able to use my experience as an actor to inspire and teach children, it's so rewarding seeing them grow in confidence and shine in their own way! Outside of Perform, I love traveling, cooking and going on big walks with my chocolate Labrador, Koda!

AREA PARTNER

Gemma

I'm one of the Perform Area Partners. I'm so lucky to meet so many wonderful Perform children when I visit different classes and watching their confidence blossom throughout their time with us. My background is musical theatre and I have performed in many different shows in the West End and in theatres around the UK. During my time in Les Miserables, I got to sing at the European football final at Wembley and the 25th anniversary concert at the O2!
