Hello from Perform Maidstone at St Paul's Church. Here at Perform, we embrace the uniqueness of every child, offering a distinctive blend of drama, dance and singing to unlock their true potential.

We started running classes at St Paul's Church in October 2015 and are currently here every week during term-time on Fridays.

At Perform Maidstone, the Producer of the classes is Ila and the Teacher is Felicity. The sessions are looked after by our Area Partner, Oliver.

The current term runs from 4th September to 18th December with no sessions on 30th October (half-term).

How to get here and parking:

Drive via Sittingbourne Road (A249) or Royal Engineers Way (A229) into Maidstone, turning onto Boxley Road. St Paul's Church is situated along Boxley Road at the junction with Rock Road.

An on-site car park is available for visitors. On-street parking is also available along Boxley Road and nearby side streets.

Maidstone East railway station is a 10-minute walk away. Local bus routes run along Boxley Road, stopping close to the venue.

We spend a lot of time recruiting, training and evaluating our wonderful Area Partners, Producers and Teachers and the team at St Paul's Church in Maidstone are no exception. As at all Perform schools, they have all been hand-picked for being enthusiastic, approachable and, of course, fantastic with children. PRODUCER

Ila

I've been producing classes for Perform since 2007! I have a degree in Drama and Theatre Arts and it's such a joy being able to use my knowledge and passion to help children confidently express themselves. When I'm not running Perform classes, I'm busy looking after my own children and enjoying trips to the theatre.

TEACHER

Felicity

I have been with Perform since 2025. I trained at East 15 Acting school studying acting, dance and singing. I love using what I have learnt at drama school to help enable children to express themselves. It is wonderful seeing the progress of children term by term. Outside of Perform, I continue with my own acting work. I love to play fun characters with crazy costumes. My most memorable costume was a burger!

AREA PARTNER

Oliver

Hi, I'm Oli! I've been with Perform since 2012 and work as an Area Partner, as well as running my own classes. Outside of Perform, I produce theatre shows and work in artist and live event management. Children have an incredible ability to find joy in the world around them, and that's one of the things I love most about my job. As an Area Partner, it's a privilege to support and develop our Teachers, helping even more children celebrate their individuality and discover what they're capable of.
