Hello! Welcome to Perform Edgware at Watling Community Centre!

At Perform, we focus on the 4 Cs - confidence, concentration, coordination and communication and every one of our activities is designed to boost these essential life skills.

We started running classes at Watling Community Centre in January 2024 and are currently here every week during term-time on Thursdays.

At Perform Edgware, the Producer of the classes is Megan and the Teacher is Georgia. The sessions are looked after by our Area Partner, Hannah.

The current term runs from 3rd September to 17th December with no sessions on 29th October (half-term).

How to get here and parking:

Driving from Edgware Road (A5) or Watford Way (A41), turn onto Deansbrook Road and continue onto Orange Hill Road where the venue is situated.

Free parking is available at the rear of the building, with additional limited spaces at the front and on nearby residential streets.

Local buses 302 and 305 stop directly outside the centre. Burnt Oak tube station on the Northern line is approximately a ten-minute walk away.

Creative Team

We spend a lot of time recruiting, training and evaluating our wonderful Area Partners, Producers and Teachers and the team at Watling Community Centre in Edgware are no exception. As at all Perform schools, they have all been hand-picked for being enthusiastic, approachable and, of course, fantastic with children. As a result, you can be confident that your child is in the best of hands. Here are the details of the Creative Team at this venue:

PRODUCER

Megan

I've been working with Perform since 2024. I love seeing how our classes nurture children, build their self confidence, and help them develop skills that will stay with them for life. I have a Certificate of Higher Education in Theatre Arts from East 15 Acting School and a BA in Acting from Rose Bruford College. I love both screen-acting and theatre, especially Shakespeare!

TEACHER

Georgia

I've been part of the Perform team since 2024 and love helping children grow through performing arts. I trained at the Oxford School of Drama and Drama Studio London, and have toured with the Young Shakespeare Company and with the Phoenix Theatre Collective during their pantomime seasons.

AREA PARTNER

Hannah

I've been part of the Perform family since 2015 and work as an Area Partner and Producer. I also oversee our LAMDA classes and deliver SEN training. My favourite part of the job is making children laugh and creating a safe space where they can thrive. Outside of Perform, you'll usually find me reading, walking my dogs or learning something new. I'm particularly interested in Psychology and History!
