Hi and welcome to Perform Acton at Acton Gardens Primary School. At Perform, we're proud of our unique curriculum that harnesses the power of the performing arts to boost children's confidence and social skills.

We started running classes at Acton Gardens Primary School in September 2025 and are currently here every week during term-time on Wednesdays.

At Perform Acton, the Producer of the classes is Brittany and the Teacher is Jamie. The schools are looked after by our Area Partner, Sophie.

The current term runs from 2nd September to 16th December with no sessions on 28th October (half-term).

How to get here and parking:

Drive into Acton via Western Avenue (A40) or Uxbridge Road (A4020). Turn onto Acton High Street or Winchester Street to access Osborne Road.

There is no visitor parking on-site. On-street pay-and-display parking is available on surrounding residential streets, or at nearby public car parks.

Acton Central Overground station and Acton Town Underground station are both within walking distance. Frequent local buses also serve nearby Acton High Street.

I've been teaching classes with Perform since 2024. I love using my experience as an actor to inspire and teach children. Every term during show week, I'm amazed by how much their confidence has grown. Outside of Perform, I love exercising, travelling and going to the theatre.

AREA PARTNER

Sophie

I'm a Perform Teacher, Producer and Area Partner. I trained at the Bristol Old Vic Theatre School and alongside working for Perform have appeared in many television programmes for the BBC and Channel 4. Recently, I've been in several of the Perform shows in the West End! What I love about teaching for Perform is seeing how much children change during their time with us. It is a joy to see children having so much fun as they are learning!
