Hello from Perform Brockley at St John's Church. Here at Perform, we embrace the uniqueness of every child, offering a distinctive blend of drama, dance and singing to unlock their true potential.

We started running classes at St John's Church in September 2021 and are currently here every week during term-time on Thursdays.

At Perform Brockley, the Producer of the classes is Miranda and the Teacher is Anastasia. The sessions are looked after by our Area Partner, Gemma.

The current term runs from 3rd September to 17th December with no sessions on 29th October (half-term).

How to get here and parking:

Drive via Lewisham Way (A20) between Lewisham and New Cross, turning onto St John's Vale at the top of the hill. The church sits on the corner, opposite Brockley Market.

A few spaces are available in front of the church. Street parking on St John's Vale is free after 5pm, and nearby side roads offer unrestricted parking.

St John's Railway Station is right next to the venue. Multiple bus routes, including the 21, 136, 321, and 436, stop along Lewisham Way right outside.

As at all Perform schools, they have all been hand-picked for being enthusiastic, approachable and, of course, fantastic with children. Miranda

I joined Perform in 2018 after studying English Literature at the University of York, and training in acting at Drama Studio London. I love drawing from my experiences as an actor to teach children drama, singing and dancing. It has been a total joy to watch their confidence and creativity flourish over the years. In addition to acting and teaching at Perform, I love yoga, 5 Rhythms dancing, hiking, camping, writing and playing guitar.

AREA PARTNER

Gemma

I'm one of the Perform Area Partners. I'm so lucky to meet so many wonderful Perform children when I visit different classes and watching their confidence blossom throughout their time with us. My background is musical theatre and I have performed in many different shows in the West End and in theatres around the UK. During my time in Les Miserables, I got to sing at the European football final at Wembley and the 25th anniversary concert at the O2!
