Welcome to Perform Bingham at Long Acre Arts Studio - where our weekly workshops are not just about having fun. They're also about fostering vital life skills that will stay with your child forever.

We started running classes at Long Acre Arts Studio in September 2021 and are currently here every week during term-time on Wednesdays.

At Perform Bingham, the Producer of the classes is Jade and the Teacher is Megan. The sessions are looked after by our Area Partner, Jade.

The current term runs from 2nd September to 16th December with no sessions on 28th October (half-term).

How to get here and parking:

Drive into Bingham via Nottingham Road or Granby Road, then turn onto Long Acre where the venue sits close to the town centre. The venue is next to the Wheatsheaf Pub.

There are few car park spaces at the back of building. Otherwise, parking is available at Bingham's public car parks and nearby town centre street bays.

Bingham train station is under a ten-minute walk away, with local bus services stopping frequently along Market Place and Long Acre.

We spend a lot of time recruiting, training and evaluating our wonderful Area Partners, Producers and Teachers and the team at Long Acre Arts Studio in Bingham are no exception. As at all Perform schools, they have all been hand-picked for being enthusiastic, approachable and, of course, fantastic with children. As a result, you can be confident that your child is in the best of hands. Here are the details of the Creative Team at this venue:

Perform is the highlight of my Wednesday and Thursday evenings! Prior to working for Perform, I performed professionally for stage and screen. My favourite performing job was dancing for Nickelodeon. Now, my passion lies with teaching. The best part of my job is supporting young performers in finding their confidence and communication. I look forward to meeting you!

AREA PARTNER

Jade

I trained in Musical Theatre at Midlands Academy Of Dance and Drama I started teaching at Perform back in 2006, and I still absolutely love it today! It's so rewarding to see every child flourish and grow in confidence term by term. I am also a Perform Area Partner, so every day brings a different job! Outside of Perform, you'll usually find me at a football pitch or scooter park watching my children play. I also enjoy reformer Pilates and trips to the theatre.
