Welcome to Perform Bexley at St John Fisher Catholic Church Hall - where our weekly workshops are not just about having fun. They're also about fostering vital life skills that will stay with your child forever.

We started running classes at St John Fisher Catholic Church Hall in January 2020 and are currently here every week during term-time on Tuesdays.

At Perform Bexley, the Producer of the classes is Lillie and the Teacher is Matthew. The sessions are looked after by our Area Partner, Oliver.

The current term runs from 1st September to 15th December with no sessions on 27th October (half-term).

How to get here and parking:

Drive along Vicarage Road or Bexley High Street (A229), then turn onto Thanet Road, where the church hall is situated.

There is a car park on-site, however, if this is full, there is one-hour street parking. Additional paid parking can also be found nearby in Bexley Village.

Bexley train station is just a short walk away, offering direct rail connections. Local bus routes, including the 132, 229, and 492, stop nearby along the High Street.

Creative Team

We spend a lot of time recruiting, training and evaluating our wonderful Area Partners, Producers and Teachers and the team at St John Fisher Catholic Church Hall in Bexley are no exception. As at all Perform schools, they have all been hand-picked for being enthusiastic, approachable and, of course, fantastic with children. PRODUCER

Lillie

I have been working with Peform since 2025, and I absolutely love it. Every week I get to use my experience as an actor to help children build confidence, have fun and discover the joys of performing. Seeing them grow, come out of there shells and shine in our classes is one of the most rewarding parts of my job! When I'm not at Perform you'll usually find me gigging as a singer, and you might even spot me popping up in a TV show now an then.

TEACHER

Matthew

I've been teaching for Perform since 2018, in that time I've loved seeing the classes I've taught grow in confidence and performance skills. I also love getting to become all the colourful characters we meet in our adventures and games. When I'm not teaching for Perform, I work as a professional actor. My favourite time of year is Christmas when I play the Conductor on The Polar Express in Norfolk and get to spend the season hanging out with the real Santa!

AREA PARTNER

Oliver

Hi, I'm Oli! I've been with Perform since 2012 and work as an Area Partner, as well as running my own classes. Outside of Perform, I produce theatre shows and work in artist and live event management. Children have an incredible ability to find joy in the world around them, and that's one of the things I love most about my job. As an Area Partner, it's a privilege to support and develop our Teachers, helping even more children celebrate their individuality and discover what they're capable of.
