Jane Coker - Perform Abingdon parent

A warm and confident welcome to Perform Abingdon at The Northcourt Centre! At Perform, we put child development at the heart of everything we do. Come and try a free class and find out.

We started running classes at The Northcourt Centre in February 2011 and are currently here every week during term-time on Saturdays and Thursdays.

At Perform Abingdon, the Producers of the classes are Adam and Lizzie and the Teachers are Katherine and Natasha. The sessions are looked after by our Area Partners, Gemma and Oliver.

The current term runs from 3rd September to 17th December with no sessions on 29th October (half-term).

How to get here and parking:

By car, approach Abingdon via Oxford Road or Strategy Way and turn onto Northcourt Road. The building will be situated on your right-hand side.

Free parking is available in the dedicated on-site car park. Additional pay-and-display parking can be found nearby in Abingdon town centre.

Radley Railway Station is two miles away. Bus routes X2 and 35 stop on Oxford Road, a short walk from the centre.

Creative Team

We spend a lot of time recruiting, training and evaluating our wonderful Area Partners, Producers and Teachers and the team at The Northcourt Centre in Abingdon are no exception. As at all Perform schools, they have all been hand-picked for being enthusiastic, approachable and, of course, fantastic with children. As a result, you can be confident that your child is in the best of hands. Here are the details of the Creative Team at this venue:

Adam

I've been producing classes with Perform since 2021. Teaching at Perform is the highlight of my week and I love helping children grow in confidence, use their imagination and discover what they're capable of. Alongside teaching, I have been fortunate enough to perform professionally in the UK and internationally. Watching the children shine during Show Week is always a highlight!

PRODUCER

Lizzie

Hi, I'm Lizzie! I've been with Perform for over 10 years now. I've always been quite the 'Drama Queen', training in Musical Theatre at University and performing in touring productions for several years before becoming a Teacher and Producer. I love my job and have so much fun working with children, helping to build their confidence and explore their creativity in all kinds of ways.

Katherine

I've been teaching at Perform since 2022. I've been performing since the age of 5 and have a degree in Musical Theatre from Millennium Performing Arts. My favourite thing about teaching at Perform is seeing the journey the children go through during their time with us. Outside of Perform, I love reading and going to see live theatre.

Natasha

I have been a Teacher at Perform since 2024. I love watching children grow in confidence and love using my skills as an actor to help them show of how amazing they are. I love Shakespeare so my favourite theme has got to be The Dream - which is Perform's unique version on A Midsummer Nights Dream.

AREA PARTNER

Gemma

I've been producing classes with Perform since 2011. I love using my experience as an actor to inspire and teach children. It is magical to see how much the children grow in confidence through laughter and play at Perform. Outside of Perform I am a Mum of two beautiful children and I love heading to the beach with them for a relaxing day of sun, sea and sand!

AREA PARTNER

Oliver

Hi, I'm Oli! I've been with Perform since 2012 and work as an Area Partner, as well as running my own classes. Outside of Perform, I produce theatre shows and work in artist and live event management. Children have an incredible ability to find joy in the world around them, and that's one of the things I love most about my job. As an Area Partner, it's a privilege to support and develop our Teachers, helping even more children celebrate their individuality and discover what they're capable of.
