Welcome to Perform Faversham at West Faversham Community Centre - dedicated to building confidence, concentration, communication and coordination using performing arts.

We started running classes at West Faversham Community Centre in September 2015 and are currently here every week during term-time on Fridays.

At Perform Faversham, the Producer of the classes is Lillie and the Teacher is Charlotte. The schools are looked after by our Area Partner, Oliver.

The current term runs from 4th September to 18th December with no sessions on 30th October (half-term).

How to get here and parking:

Driving from Faversham town centre or London Road (A2), head west via Oare Road or Western Link, then turn onto Bysing Wood Road.

On-site parking is available at the venue, along with additional street parking in the surrounding local area.

Local bus services stop nearby on Bysing Wood Road and Hazebrouck Road. Faversham railway station is about a five-minute drive or short bus ride away.

We spend a lot of time recruiting, training and evaluating our wonderful Area Partners, Producers and Teachers and the team at West Faversham Community Centre in Faversham are no exception. As at all Perform schools, they have all been hand-picked for being enthusiastic, approachable and, of course, fantastic with children. I have been working with Peform since 2025, and I absolutely love it. Every week I get to use my experience as an actor to help children build confidence, have fun and discover the joys of performing. Seeing them grow, come out of there shells and shine in our classes is one of the most rewarding parts of my job! When I'm not at Perform you'll usually find me gigging as a singer, and you might even spot me popping up in a TV show now an then.

I've been a professional actor for 25 years, I've been lucky enough to work on many West End tours, feature films, commercials and television. I love teaching at Perform and sharing my experience to inspire the children in our classes. Seeing them grow in confidence is the most rewarding thing for me and I look forward to it every week!

AREA PARTNER

Oliver

Hi, I'm Oli! I've been with Perform since 2012 and work as an Area Partner, as well as running my own classes. Outside of Perform, I produce theatre shows and work in artist and live event management. Children have an incredible ability to find joy in the world around them, and that's one of the things I love most about my job. As an Area Partner, it's a privilege to support and develop our Teachers, helping even more children celebrate their individuality and discover what they're capable of.
